CONSTITUTION: When a main transmission 50 is at a neutral position or a clutch 48 is disengaged, driving power transmission is turned off and the cathode of a thyristor 142 is earthed. When a transistor 166 is OFF with a kill switch 160, a governor switch 162 and a PTO switch 172 all open, the thyristor 142 turns ON and a start limit relay 138 closes. Therefore, a starter motor 128 is started with a starter circuit 136 closed. When a neutral switch 146 and a clutch switch 152 has been turned OFF, the thyristor 142 is not grounded and the start of the starter motor 128 is prohibited.
