CONSTITUTION: Anthracite having a particle size of 10 mesh or below, a desulfurizing agent such as calcium carbonate, a binder such as CMC and water are mixed together. The mixture is extruded into pellets which are again molded by a pelletizer to form a cylindrical main solid fuel. Charcoal having a particle size of 10 mesh or below, potassium nitrate and potassium chlorate are dry- mixed to obtain an auxiliary fuel compsn. A predetermined amount of said auxiliary fuel is introduced into the pelletizer, at work, contg. said main solid fuel, whereby the surface of said main fuel solid is coated with said auxiliary fuel compsn. 5 to obtain the titled solid fuel. Pref. said compsn. 5 is used in an amount of 3W50wt% based on the total amount of the solid fuel.
