One briquette 19 is, for example, inserted into the case 18, the connecting piece (not shown) of the frame 20 is engaged with the groove (not shown) on the inner surface of the case 18, is then brought into contact with the upper surface of the briquette 19, the briquette 19 and the frame 20 are thus inserted, and the briquette 19 is filled in the case 18. After the case 18 is engaged with the hook 28 of a cover 26, it is inserted into the space 10, and the cover 26 is mounted on the opening 24 of the inner cylinder 7 of a burner. When a heater 17 is then energized to ignite the briquette 19, the combustion exhaust gas is exhausted through a heat exchanger 11 via a blower 12 from an exhaust port 3, and the disposal of the used briquette 19 can be performed in the reverse sequence of the inserting sequence of the case 18.
