CONSTITUTION: When a controller 36 is started, first, a pair of spongy rollers 25 are rotated by means of a driving motor 28, so that the pieces of solid fuel 19 in a case 18 are entered into a combustion chamber 8 through a feed case 20 and an opening-closing valve 22, one by one, and placed on a fire grate 29. Then, an electric heater 32 is energized to ignite the solid fuel 19. Under said condition, a combustion fan 15 is operated by means of the controller 36. Consequently, combustion air is sucked into an air supply case 3 from an air supply pipe 4 faced toward the outdoor side and moreover sucked into the combustion chamber 8 through vent holes 30 in the fire grate 29. Thereby, the solid fuel 19 rapidly burns, and the combustion exhaust is discharged to the outdoor side from an exhaust pipe 16 through a radiating case 13, a radiating pipe 14 and the fan 15.
