In addition, light shielding plate 13 is provided between array substance 11 and 12 vertically to the main scanning directon. Then these components are unified. Sensor 9 is held between transparent electrode 2 as noncrystal semiconductor 1 and metal electrode 3 as the junction to be formed into a photo sensor unit. And this one unit of the sensor is formed into an array form in accordance with the width of manuscript 7.
