The guide is configured to precisely position and orients the head of the probe to the impacting structure to limit its motion during measurements. In one embodiment the guide can be an electronic guide that comprises a position measuring unit to calculate the position and orientation of the head and an impact angle and to guide a user to position the head of the probe in a desired position and orientation.
