(e.g. caproic acid), 0.5-5wt% of an inorg. alkali (C) (e.g. caustic soda) and 5-30wt% of prim alkanolamine (D) (e.g. monoethanolamine) are reacted together in water to obtain a mixed soap. A temper rolling lubricant is prepd. by using the above mixed soap as the component of the lurbicant.
