If one of two transformers TA and TB of this transformer device which are in parallel operation fails and causes fire to break out, a protection device within a transformer where the accident occurred is activated and water-screen devices 9A and 9B provided between the transformers TA or TB and a cable box 4 is activated, thus protecting a common terminal side 7 and appropriate transformer TB or TA from fire of the failed transformer. Thus, a fire-extinguishing device 14A or 14B of the transformer TA or TB where an accident occurred is activated, thus spraying fire-extinguishing water and preventing fire from spreading.
