Thereafter, the formed mist is ionized in the ionization part 11 of an atmospheric pressure ionization mass analyser 15 and subjected to mass analysis in an analytical part 7. By this constitution, the dead space volume of the liquid chromatograph/mass analyser connection part can be reduced.
