When an indication of transition to 'margin generation mode' is supplied to the visual device 4, the visual device 4 calculates the range of variance of each outer peripheral part on the basis of auxiliary data on the outer periphery and displays the margin on the display 9 of the visual device together with the reference data. The margin is corrected by using an input means such as a mouse 10 or light pen to set the range of variance in each feature quantity.
