1. In a mower conditioner adapted to be drawn and powered by a tractor: a main frame, a pair of relatively movable conditioning rolls, a sickle mower and an adjustable tine reel mounted on said main frame, an adjustable cam for said adjustable tine reel, drive means including a gear box mounted on said main frame near one side thereof for said rolls, mower and reel, said gear box having a power input shaft and a plurality of output shafts, a rotatable power take-off shaft connected to said power input shaft and adapted for connection to said tractor, drive means connected between said conditioning rollS and output shafts on said gear box, drive means connected between said sickle mower and an output shaft on said gear box, and drive means connected between one of said conditioning rolls and said adjustable tine reel.

A mower conditioner according to claim 1 wherein said tine reel comprising a rotatable shaft having tine bars rotatably supported thereon and circumferentially spaced thereabout, each tine bar being provided with tine springs and with cam follower means which engage said cam, and including first support means for supporting said shaft on said main frame, said first support means being adjustable to move said tine reel horizontally and vertically with respect to said main frame, and said conditioning rolls , and second support means for supporting said cam on said first support means, said second support means being adjustable to move said cam horizontally and vertically with respect to said first support means to adjust the cam position and consequently the angular position of said tine springs.

3. A mower conditioner according to claim 2 wherein said first support means comprise a plate on which an end of said shaft is rotatably supported and means for securing said plate to said frame, and wherein said second support means comprise means for securing said cam to said plate,

A mower conditioner according to claim 3 wherein said means for securing said plate to said frame comprises at least one bolt for securing said plate in a predetermined vertical position with respect to said frame, and further comprises at least one other bolt for securing said plate in a predetermined horizontal position with respect to said frame.

5. A mower conditioner according to claim 4 wherein said means for securing said cam to said plate comprises at least one bolt for securing said cam in predetermined horizontal and vertical positions with respect to said plate.

6. A mower conditioner according to claim 5 wherein said means for securing said plate to said frame comprises vertical guide means on said frame with respect to which said plate is vertically movable when said one bolt is loosened and horizontal guide means on said frame with respect to which said plate is horizontally movable when said one other bolt is loosened.

7. A mower conditioner according to claim wherein said one bolt for securing said cam cooperates with a cross-shaped aperture in said plate.

8. A mower conditioner according to claim 1 wherein said drive means connected between at least one movable conditioning roller and an output shaft on said gear box comprises a universal drive shaft, and wherein said drive means connected between said adjustable tine reel and one of said conditioning rolls is connected to said movable conditioning roll.

9. A mower conditioner according to claim 8 wherein said drive means connected between said sickle mower and an output shaft on said gear box comprises pitman drive means, said pitman drive means comprising pin means which break under tension in the event said sickle mower becomes overloaded.

10. A mower conditioner according to claim 8 including resilient support means on said main frame for said movable conditioning roll, said support means comprising a support member movably mounted on said main frame, bearing means on said support member for said movable conditioning roll, and biasing means connected between said main frame and said support member.
