CONSTITUTION: Al or an Al alloy is anodically oxidized to form a porous film, and the film is secondarily electrolyzed in an electrolytic soln. contg. ≥1 kind of salt selected from alkali metallic salts and alkaline earth metallic salts of thiomolybdic acid and ammonium salt, alkali metallic salts and alkaline earth metallic salts of thiotungstic acid, thiostannic acid, thioplatinic acid, thioauric acid, thioantimonic acid, thiocupric acid, thioniobic acid and thiovanadic acid. By the electrolysis metallic sulfide is formed and fixed in the alumite film. By subjecting the treated film to 2-soln. alternate dipping treatment which complements said secondary electrolysis, all the micropores of the film are filled with metallic sulfide.
