A single one or combination of L-ascorbic acid, L-ascorbic acid salt such as L-ascorbic acid sodium salt or L-ascorbic acid potassium salt and a citric acid salt such as citric acid sodium salt or citric acid potassium salt is dissolved in the solution in an amount of at least 0.0002wt.% to provide an immersion solution for foods.
