A sill cock assembly is disclosed comprising a fluid outlet for location on the exterior of a wall, a fluid flow inlet adapted for location adjacent the interior of the wall, a conduit connecting the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet, a selectively operable valve located adjacent the fluid flow inlet for alternatively opening and closing the fluid flow inlet, and a pressure release means located adjacent the valve to allow fluid communication in an inwardly direction from the conduit through the valve to the fluid inlet when the fluid pressure within the conduit due to freezing is greater than the fluid pressure of the inlet. A portion of the wall of the conduit is corrugated adjacent the valve to allow expansion of the conduit during freezing. |

A plunger switch comprises a switch body housing a first contact element, a second contact element and an elongate plunger. The first contact element is partially housed in the switch body and extends out for operative communication with a circuit. The second contact element is movable along a longitudinal axis of the switch body and is aligned to contact the first contact element through movement. The elongate plunger is movable along the longitudinal axis of the switch body, and is able to be completely recessed in the switch body. Movement of the plunger in a first direction facilitates contact between the first and second contact elements. The contact elements contact at contact portions. At least a pair of the contact portions may have ridged surfaces that are oriented so as to have intersecting points at contact and configured to perform oxidation cleanup. At least a pair of the contact portions may include silver nitride. |

A sill cock assembly for attachment to a pipe. The sill cock assembly includes a main body having a first end. A faucet is located at an opposite second end. A bore runs through the main body from the first end to the second end. A plurality of o-rings is located on an inner surface of the main body surrounding the bore. The o-rings are annularly aligned around the bore. In addition, a plurality of set screw bores run from an outer surface of the main body to the inner surface of the main body. Set screws are positioned within the set screw bores. A pipe is positioned within the bore and the plurality of set screws are tightened to secure the sill cock assembly in place upon the pipe. In an alternate embodiment, the assembly may include a threaded end for attachment to another device in place of the faucet. |
