摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the abrasion of a tire due to slip by allowing some among the axles of the connected passenger trains in multiaxle constitution to be self- steered. CONSTITUTION:A tire 7 on an axle 4 is steered by the road-surface resistance when the tire travels on a curved road. The tire 7 turns around a king pin 9 through a knuckle 10, and a knuckle arm 11 pushes a tie rod 15, and a roller bracket 16 is pushed. Though a roller 17 tends to roll rightward, a roller arm 14 is applied with the air pressure in a chamber 25, and the transfer of the roller 17 is restricted. Therefore, when the angle of the tire 7 on a curved road is large, the roller 17 shifts the front surface of the roller arm 14 rightward. The shaking of the tire is prevented by allowing the roller 17 to be set into equilibrium to the pressure in the chamber 25 when the roller 17 is positioned at the center part between two roller arms 14, and thus the normal state in traveling on a straight road is maintained.
