| 摘要 | PURPOSE: To eliminate the danger that both brakes are operated simultaneously and braking force is applied in excess to prevent the derailment of a vehicle by simplifying the wiring of control devices, and installing independent control devices for two brake devices. CONSTITUTION: The brake structure of a railway vehicle for use particularly on a railway on a steep gradient includes two independently operable brake units 20, 21 and four brake units 4 attached to a restraint wheel 8. The brake structure further includes two independent brake devices 35, 38 associated with these units and control devices for controlling the two brake devices 35, 38 individually. The control devices include a series of operating parts actuated by a controller. Through the operating parts, the associated brake units 20, 21, 22 determine whether the brakes are applied or released.
