FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention generally relates to a levitation system for transport and more particularly relates to a magnetic levitation system for personal transport from one port to another port or for an amusement ride.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Automobile transport is one of the widely used mode of transport, but it limitations are enormous especially relying on non-renewable energy resources for fuel and staggering amount of pollution caused by fuelling of the internal combustion engine which is very harmful to the environment. Alternative modes of transport using renewable energy resources can help to cut back on greenhouse gasses and reduce air pollution. In addition, personal transport systems such as electric scooter, electric skateboard, are being developed in order to avoid congestion due to traffic and for eco-friendly way of transport.

Magnetic levitation allows non-contact movement and thus wear-free support of both rotating and linearly moving parts. Magnetic levitation uses the concept of a magnets natural repulsion to poles of the same kind, this repulsion can be harnessed in an environment to help create a system of transportation that is congestion free and faster than most methods of transportation at this point.

Magnetic levitation is highly influenced by the type of magnets used including permanent magnets, electromagnetic magnets and superconductive magnets. The concept of magnetic levitation is applied in developing novelty toys, exhibiting products, transport system and conveying systems.

In addition to speed and energy efficiency, the transport systems based on magnetic levitation offers no pollution, no congestion, no noise, hassle-free and aesthetically pleasing mode of transport and also independent of fossil fuels or non-renewable energy resources.

U.S. Pat. No. 5,375,531 shows a magnetic levitation system comprising superconductor body. U.S. Pat. No. 6,502,517 discloses an arrangement for operating a transportation system with a magnetic levitation vehicle. U.S. Pat. No. 6,359,767 shows an apparatus for controlling magnetic levitation system.

Accordingly, there exists a need for an alternate transport system using magnetic levitation thus providing rapid, pollution-free and hassle-free transport.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a magnetic levitation system adapted for personal transport, the system comprising: a stationary module comprising a magnetic track; and a movable module configured to hover over the magnetic track, comprising a seating arrangement on top of a vertical support extending from a base plate, wherein the base plate comprises a magnetic disk at bottom face.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Referring to FIG. 1, a rear view of the movable module 100 of the magnetic levitation system according to an embodiment of the present invention. The movable module 100 comprises a brake lever 150 configured to stop or slowing down the movable module. The movable module further comprises magnetic disk 140 at the bottom face of base plate 130 adapted to hover over the surface of magnetic track, which forms a stationary module.

FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of a movable module 100 of a magnetic levitation system adapted for personal transport. The movable module 100 is configured to hover over a magnetic track or a platform substantially distributed with magnets or electromagnets, the movable module 100 comprises a seating arrangement 110 on top of a vertical support 120 extending from a base plate 130, wherein the base plate 130 comprises a magnetic disk 140 at the bottom face and a brake lever 150. The vertical support 120 further comprises a handle 160 configured to provide balancing support to the rider. The movable module comprise a taller shield.

FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of a movable module 100 of a magnetic levitation system with shield, lift opened up according to an embodiment of the present invention. A seating arrangement 110 on top of the support 120 extending from the base plate 130, wherein the base plate 130 comprises a magnetic disk 140 and a brake lever 150. The vertical support 120 further comprises a handle 160 configured to provide balancing support to the rider. The handle 160 act as a holding support for the user in a seated or standing position during transportation.

FIG. 4 illustrates a digital pad handle. The handle 160 may comprise digital controls and act as a holding support for the user.

FIG. 5 illustrates a top view of the magnetic disk 140 at the bottom of the base plate 130. The magnetic disk 140 comprises a plurality of magnets substantially distributed over the surface. The repulsion force created by the magnets present in the magnetic disk 140 during contact with the magnets of the magnetic track 200 propels the movable module thus causing it to hover over the magnetic track 200. The magnetic disc under the movable module used as attachment for landing.

FIG. 6 illustrates a top view of the magnetic track for landing/parking. The track 200, which comprises a plurality of magnets substantially distributed over the surface. The polarity of magnets are similar in magnetic disk 140 and magnetic track 200, which results in a repulsive force that is harnessed as the energy for propulsion of the movable module 100.

In an embodiment, the magnetic track 200 comprises a plurality of electromagnets or electromagnetic coil. The magnetic track 200 may also comprise balancing magnets in a different polarity along the edges to prevent flipping over of the base plate 130 due to repulsive force exerted by similar poles of magnets facing each other between the magnetic disk 140 and the magnetic track 200. The balancing magnets also prevents the movable module 100 from slipping out of the track area 200.

The magnetic levitation system of the present invention can be used as a mode of personal transport for commuting from one port to another and also used as an amusement ride in amusement parks.

The magnetic levitation system, also known as Jet Mobil Machine is designed to mobilize individuals through the air by employing hydraulic, digital and laser mechanism that propels one into air space. The system deals with a concept of light weightiness yet remains an effective means for transport at an amusement park, landing center or for private usage. The present invention design is also used in amusement parks and future air travel. The Jet Mobil Machine, consists of a specific handle (house the control mechanism), magnetic disc, and track. On the Jet Mobil Flying Machine the panel would include all in a unit that is required to make it fly (laser unit), a magnetic port pad would consist of a field of energy whereby when connected to track and immediate suction process is able to attract it to the landing disc. This design should include the lightest materials created to develop a smooth style and running of the Jet Mobil Flying Machine to travel from one port to another.

The Jet Mobil Flying Machine is designed to identify mobilize individuals through air space through a hydraulic, digital or Advanced Technological mechanism running off solar energy and or magnetic energy that propels one into the airspace perfected with quality materials of the time of now, excluding liquid gas/substance.
