The invention relates to a construction kit for a rail vehicle which comprises at least one bodyshell of a body of the rail vehicle, and at least one door for the rail vehicle, wherein the bodyshell has a first door field for fitting the door, which door field is delimited by two adjacent door columns of the bodyshell.

The WO 2008/138830 A1 shows a construction kit for a bodyshell of a body of the rail vehicle and a bodyshell of a body of a rail vehicle comprising horizontal upper and lower box sections, vertical door and window columns for the side regions of the bodyshell, as well as several roof and floor cross supports. The upper and lower box sections are connected together with the door and window columns and the roof and floor cross supports via joints which have uniformly formed interfaces. Door fields for the installation of doors are provided between the upper and lower box sections and the door and window columns which are perpendicular thereto.

A fixed door and window divider is provided despite the modular construction of the bodyshell of the body.

The object of the invention is to provide cost-effective bodyshells for bodies of different door and window dividers.

This is achieved by the subject of the dependent patent claim 1. Further developments and configurations of the invention are reproduced in the features of the dependent patent claims.

A construction kit according to the invention for a rail vehicle, more particularly a rail vehicle for passenger traffic, comprises at least one bodyshell of a body of the rail vehicle, at least one door for the rail vehicle and at least a first window for the rail vehicle. The bodyshell of the body of the rail vehicle comprises a first door field for the installation of the at least one door which is delimited by two adjacent door columns of the bodyshell. The construction kit according to the invention further comprises a frame for fitting into the first door field which is detachably connectable to the bodyshell and which comprises at least a first window bar which, in conjunction with the door columns, delimits a first window field for fitting the first window in the fitted state of the frame in the first door field.

The bodyshell has by way of example substantially horizontally aligned upper and lower box sections in a roof and in the floor of the rail vehicle, and columns which run perpendicular to the horizontal upper and lower box sections and thus substantially vertically between the roof and floor, more particularly in the side walls of the rail vehicle. The columns comprise the door columns and where applicable the window columns. The door and window columns are connected in materially bonded manner, more particularly by welding, to the upper and lower box sections.

The first door field is in particular configured complementary with the at least one door of the construction kit so that the at least one door can be installed, more particularly close-fitted in the first door field. The door thereby comprises by way of example a door frame in addition to at least one door panel. The width of the door frame in one embodiment corresponds substantially to the distance between two adjacent door columns of the bodyshell of the body of the rail vehicle through which the first door field is delimited, more particularly at the sides. The door is more particularly an outside door, thus a door which in the closed state separates an interior space of the rail vehicle, by way of example a passenger compartment, from the outside surroundings of the rail vehicle.

The frame is configured so that it can be inserted into the first door field and can be connected detachably to the bodyshell of the body of the rail vehicle. It comprises a first window bar whose width according to one embodiment corresponds substantially to the spacing of the two adjacent door columns of the first door field of the bodyshell of the body of the rail vehicle. The first window bar divides the first door field, more particularly into an upper part and a lower part. The space between the door columns and above the first window bar of the frame forms by way of example the first window field whereby in one possible assembled state of the construction kit the first window is arranged above the first window bar of the frame and between the door columns. The space between the door columns and underneath the first window bar of the frame can then be closed at least in part by the frame. At least one seat and/or at least one side wall cladding element can be connected to this part of the frame. Side wall cladding elements can then be fixable outside and/or inside on the frame so that they line the frame and the rail vehicle from the outside surroundings of the rail vehicle and/or so that they are arranged on the side of an interior space, by way of example a passenger compartment of the rail vehicle, of the frame.

The first window is in turn designed more particularly complementary with the first window field so that it can be installed, more particularly close-fitted into the first window field. The first window can also comprise a window frame in addition to at least one window filler, thus in particular a window pane.

The first window is fixed on the bodyshell of the body of the rail vehicle in a possible installed position by means of the frame, more particularly by means of the first window bar. The first window can furthermore also be fixed on the bodyshell of the body of the rail vehicle.

The bodyshell and the first window have for this purpose complementary interfaces. These are termed fourth interfaces in the following.

The at least one door is likewise connectable to the bodyshell in the first door field and is connected to same in a further possible assembled state. The door and bodyshell of the body of the rail vehicle also have complementary interfaces for this which in the following are termed third interfaces.

According to a further development of the invention the fourth interfaces for fixing the first window to the bodyshell are identical with the third interfaces for fixing the at least one door of the construction kit.

The bodyshell and the frame are further provided with complementary first interfaces for detachably connecting the frame to the bodyshell. In order to connect the frame reversibly to the bodyshell of the body of the rail vehicle, more particularly cold-joined, both the frame and also the bodyshell of the body of the rail vehicle have bores, by way of example full-length through bores and/or threaded bores. The frame can be screwed to the bodyshell by means of these bores.

According to a further development the first interfaces for detachably connecting the frame to the bodyshell are suitable for fitting the at least one door of the construction kit into the first door field and thus for fixing the door on the body shell, more particularly these first and third interfaces are likewise identical, by way of example comprising bores, in order to screw the frame and/or the door to the bodyshell.

The said first, third and fourth interfaces for connecting the first window and/or the door and/or the frame to the bodyshell of the body of the rail vehicle are provided at least in part in the region of the first door field on the bodyshell, more particularly on the door columns. In a further development both the first and third interfaces are formed identical with one another, and also the fourth and third interfaces are formed identical with one another.

The construction kit according to the invention enables the cost-effective and flexible manufacture in respect of the door and window dividers of different rail vehicles, depending on customer requirements. The door and window divider of a rail vehicle manufactured by means of the construction kit can furthermore be rapidly and easily changed.

The frame can have further second interfaces for fixing the at least one seat and/or the at least one side wall cladding element on the frame. Then complementary second interfaces are correspondingly provided in analogous manner on the at least one seat and/or on the at least one side wall cladding element. If only one side wall cladding element is fitted it is advantageously configured accordingly in order to line the first door field or at least the region of the first door field underneath the first window.

In order to produce different seat arrangements or seat dividers the frame can correspondingly have a plurality of further second interfaces for fixing at least one seat which in particular are arranged spread out over the width of the frame between the door columns. One or more seats are thereby to be fastened on the frame at different places of the frame. One seat or several seats are then to be connected directly to the frame or indirectly via one or more seat rails. The seats are also according to one configuration to be fixed detachably on the frame, by way of example by means of one or more screws. The second interfaces are configured accordingly.

In accordance with a further development the bodyshell has at least one further second window field for the installation of the first window. This field preferably has the same size as the first window field. The second window field is preferably designed identical to the first window field. This also relates more particularly to the fourth interfaces of the bodyshell for fixing the first window. The fourth interfaces of the window columns for fixing the first window are thus formed identical with the corresponding further interfaces of the door columns of the first door field. The second window field is delimited by way of example by two adjacent window columns and a window bar of the bodyshell of the body of the rail vehicle, which further window bar of the bodyshell of the body of the rail vehicle is termed second window bar in the following. The further interfaces of the further second window bar are likewise formed more particularly identical to the fourth interfaces of the first window bar of the frame.

Another further development proposes that the bodyshell comprise one further second door field configured more particularly identical with the first door field and intended for the installation of the at least one door of the construction kit. The bodyshell can also have in the region of the second door field interfaces for fixing the at least one door of the construction kit, the first window and the frame, which are configured identical with the third interfaces of the bodyshell in the region of the first door field for fixing the door.

According to a further exemplary design all the door and window columns have identical interfaces for fixing doors and/or first windows. All the window bars, including the first window bar of the frame, have identical interfaces for fixing first windows.

The bodyshell can furthermore have in the region of the door columns further interfaces, more particularly for fixing door sills, for fixing cross-floor support struts and/or for fixing underlay strips for increasing the entry height.

A method for manufacturing a rail vehicle according to the invention, more particularly for passenger traffic, is characterized in that at least one construction kit according to the invention is used wherein a door is fitted in the first door field or wherein a frame and a first window are fitted in the first door field. A rail vehicle according to the invention, more particularly for passenger traffic, is manufactured accordingly in the sense of this method and comprises at least a bodyshell of a body of the construction kit according to the invention. It furthermore comprises at least one door of the construction kit according to the invention and/or it comprises at least one frame and at least one first window of the construction kit according to the invention. The door is fixed in the first door field of the bodyshell of the body of the rail vehicle or the frame is detachably connected to the bodyshell in the first door field of the bodyshell, wherein the first window is fitted in the first window field delimited by the first window bar of the frame and the door columns of the first door field of the bodyshell. The first window is then arranged more particularly above the first window bar of the frame and between the door columns which delimit the first door field. The rail vehicle further comprises in addition to the bodyshell a frame and a first window, as well as a door of the construction kit according to the invention.

In addition to the first door field the bodyshell of the body of the rail vehicle can comprise at least a further second door field which is configured identical with the first door field and in which the door is fitted. Equally the bodyshell can have at least one additional second window field configured identical with the first window field wherein the first window is fitted in the second window field.

If both a door and also a first window are fitted in the bodyshell then they are fitted into first and second door fields of the bodyshell which are different from one another but which are however more particularly configured identical. Alternatively or additionally the first window or a further second window which is structurally identical to the first window is fitted into a further second window field of the bodyshell which is more particularly configured identical to the first window field.

In the case of a further rail vehicle according to a further development the frame is screwed to the bodyshell. A further development proposes that at least one seat and/or at least one side wall cladding element is/are fixed on the frame.

A further rail vehicle has several, more particularly identically structured, bodies of the construction kit according to the invention which by way of example are coupled to one another. In a first body the door of the construction kit is fitted in the first door field of the bodyshell of the construction kit. In a second body however the first window and the frame are fitted in the first door field. Different door and window dividers are thereby formed in a rail vehicle and where applicable also additionally different seating arrangements.

The invention permits numerous embodiments. It will be explained in further detail with reference to the following figures in which an exemplary embodiment is shown each time. The same elements in the figures are provided with the same reference numerals.

FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a bodyshell of a body of a construction kit according to the invention for a rail vehicle,

FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of the bodyshell of FIG. 1 with door fields in which frames are fitted,

FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of the bodyshell of FIG. 1 with door fields which are lined with side wall cladding elements.

FIG. 1 shows a bodyshell according to the invention of a body of a rail vehicle, here a tram. The bodyshell 1 comprises a roof with upper box section 9, a floor with lower box section 10 and several cross floor beams 11, as well as door columns 4 and window columns 5 which together surround a passenger compartment of the rail vehicle.

Overall the bodyshell 1 has four door fields 2 and four window fields 12, two on each side of the bodyshell 1. The door fields 2 are each delimited in the horizontal direction by two door columns 4 each. The window fields 12 are delimited at each side by a door column 4 and a window column 5. The door fields 2 are delimited vertically by upper box sections 9 and lower box sections 10. The window fields 12 are framed by the upper box sections 9 and window bars 8 in addition to the door columns 4 and window columns 5. Both all of the door fields 2 and also all of the window fields 12 are each configured identical to one another. The door columns 4 and window columns 5 are here welded to the upper box sections 9 and lower box sections 10. Thus initially a solid door and window divider appears provided.

FIG. 2 now shows how two frames 6 are fitted into two of the door fields 2. The frames 6 are detachably connected to the bodyshell 1 in the door fields 2 of the bodyshell 1. Since all the door fields 2 are formed structurally identical it has been omitted here to mark them differently. The frames 6 each have interfaces for fixing the frames 6, which are formed identical to those which a door would have for fitting into the door fields 2. The mutually complementary interfaces 13 of the bodyshell 1 for fixing the door are thus also suitable for detachably connecting the frames 6 to the bodyshell 1. For clarity doors and windows are not shown.

The frames 6 which are here different from one another are formed different from one another. Both comprise however identical window bars 7. The window bars 7 of the frames are designated first window bars 7 in order to differentiate them from the further second window bars 8 of the bodyshell 1. First windows of the construction kit are formed in which first window fields 3, delimited by the window bars 7 of the frames 6 and the door columns 4 of the bodyshell 1, are to be fitted.

Since the door fields 2 and thus the first window fields 3 are wider than the further second window fields 12, thus the distance between the adjacent door columns 4 is greater than the distance between the adjacent door columns 4 and window columns 5 which laterally delimited a second window field 3, the second window fields 12 which are outlined here, are not structurally identical with the window fields 3, and are therefore not suitable for receiving a first window of the construction kit according to the invention since the latter would not fit in seamlessly. Second windows designed complementary to second window fields 12 would have to be provided in the further second window fields 12 of the bodyshell 1. In order to provide first window fields 3 which are identical to the second window fields 12, in one or more door fields, a frame 6 would have to comprise for example a frame for the first window.

Side wall cladding elements 14 are fixed on the frames 6 in the configuration according to FIG. 3 and line the door fields 2 at least underneath the window bar 7 of the frame 6. The further bodyshell 1 is also provided with further side wall cladding elements 15.
