摘要	PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight inexpensive wheel and prevent falling off of a press-fitted assembly, by providing respective torque locks on a brack drum and a bearing boss which are welded to each other, and also providing a fall-off preventing device at a contact portion between a rim and a spoke. CONSTITUTION:A brake drum 2 is formed by pressing a steel plate and providing torque lock portions 7, 9 and 10 at plural positions of the pressed steel plate. A steel pipe is treated by inside and outside diameter finishing to form a boss 1. The boss 1 is fitted in a central portion of the drum 2, and is fixed to the drum 2 at a welding portion 6. Then, the welded member is die-cast to produce a wheel. At this time, a rim torque lock 11 is provided on an inside surface of the rim 3. Further, there is provided a press-fitted assembly falling-off preventing device comprising a fall-off preventing rig 12 and fastening bolts 13 at a contact portion between the rim 3 and a spoke 4. According to this method, it is possible to obtain a lightweight inexpensive wheel, and prevent falling-off of the press-fitted assembly.
