摘要	In the manufacture of close-fitting castings by the precision casting method referred to as the casting-on process, the primary and secondary parts can be easily separated if the surface of the primary part is isolated, before the secondary part is cast on, by a ceramic separating layer which cannot be attacked chemically by the constituents of the alloys used. A separating layer containing zirconium dioxide is particularly preferred.
