A beach bed includes a flexible, thin-walled plane made from synthetic material, e.g. PVC. It is made up of a central part and a peripheral inflatable part separated by means of one or more heat seals, whereby the inflatable part, when inflated, form a boxed-in area around the central part. The inflatable part, when inflated is provided with at least one part that is raised relative to the rest of the inflatable part. With an item of this design it is possible for the user to make himself comfortable on a sandy surface and at the same time prevent sand from blowing on himself and any items he has placed in the central part. Furthermore, a beach towel may be coupled to the beach bed. Moreover, advertising may be printed on the central part of the beach bed. |

A combined tent-sleeping bag system including a pair of side panels. Each panel has a front edge, a rear edge, a bottom edge, and a common top edge. One of the side panels has a zipper assembly along the bottom edge. The common edge has a plurality of eyelets. Also, included are a plurality of flaps that have a panel edge that is integral the rear edge of the side panels, and a closing edge with a snap-type fastener assembly for coupling with another of the closing edges. Included is a mat that has long side walls, short side walls, a bottom surface, and a cushion-like material. The mat has a plurality of eyelets along the short side wall. The mat forms a first side wall that has a zipper assembly for coupling with the zipper assembly of one of the bottom edges. The mat forms a second side wall that is integral the bottom edge of another of the side panels. Provided is a support pole that is positioned through the eyelets. Included are a pair of long stakes that have a ground piercing end that is positioned through one of the eyelets. Lastly, a plurality of short stakes are positioned in the remaining eyelets of the bottom surface of the mat. |

A light weight, two piece cot comprising first and second rectangular shaped molded members which form a contoured surface for supporting a person when fitted together. Each member has two sides and two ends and an upward facing surface with a ridge formed around said surface along two sides and one end. The first member is elongated having four walls along its two sides and two ends respectively for supporting its upward facing surface and the second member has three walls along its two sides and along said one end respectively for supporting its upward facing surface. The ridge free end of the second member is supportable by the ridge free end of the first member. |

A bed frame which is collapsible so as to be easily stored and transported. A pair of connectable cross supports are pivotally mounted to a pair of parallel mattress supporting rails. A pair of legs are pivotally mounted to the cross supports and extend downwardly beneath the rails. Each leg has a top edge contacting and supporting horizontal portions of the rails thereby preventing pivotal motion of the legs when the cross supports are connected together. The rails, cross supports and legs have identical cross sectional configurations.

The mattress support disclosed utilizes a supporting sheet of fabric, preferably of non-woven, heat-bonded, polypropylene fibers that provide a tough, strong support. This sheet is generally rectangular with straight tubular edges along the major portion of the periphery of the sheet and interrupted by nontubular corners at which the tubular edges open. Four elongated frame members, preferably of angled metal stock, are disposed within the tubular edges and extend therefrom at the non-tubular corners. These frame members are secured together at the corners by nuts and bolts and are rigidified by short corner struts which extend between and are secured, as by nuts and bolts, to the adjacent frame members outward of the non-tubular corners of the supporting sheet. The mattress support can be assembled by inserting the frame members into the tubular edges, securing adjacent ends of the frame members together except at one of the corners, tensioning the supporting sheet by pulling the unsecured frame members outwardly and then securing them together, and securing the short corner struts to adjacent frame members.

A frame has transversely spaced frame portions which are suitably connected with one another. Elongated flexible support webs are carried by the frame extending in parallelism with one another and with the frame portions. Flexible tubular sections of synthetic plastic material extend transversely of the frame portions from one to the other, being located in parallelism with each other and arrayed lengthwise of the frame portions. Sheetmaterial strips are each connected with the end portions of the tubular members located adjacent the respective frame portions; these sheet material strips extend lengthwise of the respective frame portions and are secured to the same.
