본 발명은 자연에서 채취된 석화석(石火石)을 적정입도로 선별하여 그 구성 요소중 철이나 유기질 등 이물질을 제거한 순수 성분만 잔류되게 하고 이후 정제와 건조를 거쳐 마련된 반가공 상태의 석화석을 원하는 색채로 착색하여 분말화 함으로써 건축물 또는 조형물의 외장 마감재 및 미술작품의 착색재료로 활용할 수 있게한 석화석 가공방법에 관한 것으로, 즉, 자연에서 채취된 석화석을 과립상 또는 분말상으로 분쇄하여 입자의 크기가 약 10메쉬(mesh)를 통과할 정도로 선별하여 석화석분쇄물을 얻으며, 상기 공정에 의해 선별된 석화석분쇄물을 순도가 55~65% 정도의 알카리(alkali)성 용액중에 투입하여 상온에서 약 24시간 정도 침지과정을 거친 후 세척을 통해 석화석분쇄물에 함유되었던 광물질이나 유기질 등의 이물질을 제거하고, 상기 이물질이 제거된 석화석분쇄물을 건조한 후 염색용 분해기에 수용된 원하는 색상의 염색액중에 잠길정도로 투입하여 30~50㎏의 압력하에서 약 24시간 정치시켜 염색하였으며, 상기 염색공정을 거쳐 착색된 석화석분쇄물이 응고된 후 분쇄기로 투입하여 분쇄를 함으로써 파우더 형태로 분쇄되어 분말 자체에 고유한 색상을 가진 착색재료로 완성함을 특징으로 한다.

PURPOSE: A stone brick containing pottery stone and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve compressive strength and absorption rate by mixing loam soil with a constant composition ratio. CONSTITUTION: A stone brick containing pottery stone comprises 65-75 weight% of pottery stone, 5-20 weight% of red clay, and 5-20 weight% of bomyung soil(loam soil with identical mixing rate of fine sand, silt, and clay). A particle size of the pottery stone is 0.1-2.0mm. Particle sizes of the red clay and the bomyung soil are 0.01-1.0mm. A manufacturing method of the stone brick comprises the following steps: mixing 65-75 weight% of the pottery stone, 5-20 weight% of the red clay, 5-20 weight% of the bomyung soil, and 15-20 weight% of water; drying the molds in a drier at 50-100deg.C for 50-60hours; and plasticizing the dried molds at 1000-1300deg.C for 15-20hours.
