172 Bicycle cover US218680 1994-03-29 US5372169A 1994-12-13 Merritt Norton; Sigrid L. Norton
A water resistant cover in the form of a sack for wheeled vehicles is described. The cover accommodates wheeled vehicles such as bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles, or the like. The sack packs into itself by means of a sleeve opening attached to the cover and therefore does not require a separate pouch for storage. This sleeve can be snugly closed around a lock to prevent moisture from entering into the interior of the sack while it covers the vehicle. A cable is attached to the interior of the sack which may be pulled through the sleeve opening to provide a means of locking the packed cover to the vehicle. This cable also provides a means of securing the cover to the vehicle while it is covering the vehicle.

175 Aerodynamic bicycle cover US410648 1989-09-21 US4944340A 1990-07-31 Rainey Tortorich
A unique travel and storage cover for covering wheeled vehicles, such as bicycles. The present invention discloses such a cover that form fits a wheeled vehicle and is sufficiently aerodynamic that the cover can be used when transporting the bicycle by motor vehicle. The cover is constructed such that it fits tightly around the wheels, pedals, frame, handle bars, and seat of the bicycle. The cover may be constructed in one piece. Alternatively, a separate seat cover may be provided such that the seat is tightly covered. Alternatively, the cover may comprise multiple pieces, each designed for covering a particular component of the vehicle. The cover is provided with zippers, VELCRO, or other suitable means of attachment at all locations comprising openings in the cover. This allows the bicycle or other vehicle to be easily placed inside the cover. Once inside the cover, the cover is secured by closing the zipper or zippers. This provides a tight, form fit which holds the cover snugly about the bicycle. The cover may be provided with one or more sections of mesh. These mesh sections are positioned over openings in the frame of the bicycle or over the wheels, i.e. any place within the silhouette of the bicycle which does not comprise an actual part of the bicycle. The mesh allows air to pass through the bicycle and cover such that flapping of the cover is minimized. As an alternative, the mesh could be eliminated and on opening could remain.

178 ROLLING TYPE COVER DEVICE PCT/KR2008007413 2008-12-15 WO2009084830A3 2009-08-20 KWAG JONG-SU
The present invention relates to a rolling type cover device, and more particularly, to a device, which draws out a cover and covers a two-wheeler or automobile with the cover to protect the vehicle and winds the cover to enable it to be kept conveniently when the cover is not utilized. The rolling type cover device comprises a mid-sheet shaft (100) having a mid-sheet (110) wound thereon; a cover shaft (200) rotating by a rotational force-inputting means to allow a cover (210) and the mid-sheet (110) to be stacked and wound on the cover shaft; a power transmission means (300) for transmitting rotational force of the cover shaft (200) to the mid- sheet shaft (100); and a body (400) accommodating the mid-sheet shaft (100) and the cover shaft (200) and rotatably supporting them in parallel with each other. The rolling type cover device of the present invention is used, which is easily transported and kept, winds a mid-sheet in a state where the mid-sheet is interposed between an inner surface and an outer surface of the cover, when the cover is wound, to prevent foreign substances stuck to the outer surface of the cover from being transferred to the inner surface of the cover, thereby durably preventing a two-wheeler or automobile from being contaminated, and can prevent the cover from being drawn out using a stopper to thereby maintain an appropriate tension of the cover and thus remarkably enhance the user's convenience.
