PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train control system in which a following train can travel without being stopped, even when an approach route of the following train is different from that of a preceding train.SOLUTION: A train control system comprises: an on-board device installed on a train 2 that travels on a predetermined track 1; an on-board wireless device for transmitting and receiving information of the on-board device; a wayside wireless device 5 that is provided at a predetermined position on the ground and that transmits/receives information to/from the on-board wireless device; a ground device 8 provided on the track 1 and connected to the wayside wireless device 5; a service management device 12 that transmits service information of the train 2 to the ground device 8; and an interlocking device 11 that performs operation control of a turnout 6 that changes routes of the track 1. On the basis of the wireless propagation time between the on-board wireless device and the wayside wireless device 5, the ground device 8 detects the position of the train 2, and controls the interval between a preceding train 2 and a following train 2 by receiving approach route information of the train 2 from the service management device 12. |

Local operation of a component of a railway track system. The invention relates, inter alia, to a method for operating a railway track system (10), in which local operation of a component (20, 30) of the railway track system (10) is enabled. The invention proposes that a component identifier which identifies the component (20, 30) of the railway track system (10) is queried using a mobile radio terminal (60) via a close-range communication link (70) and this identifier is transmitted to a control or signal box device (50) via a radio link (80), the component identifier of the component (20, 30) is checked in the control or signal box device (50), and an enable command (FB) which enables local operation of the component (20, 30) is generated if the identifier check is successful. |

PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing platform no-permission passing of a trail is provided to implement stop at a predetermined position, by automating stop operation handling of the trail. CONSTITUTION: A platform trail control equipment is installed at the starting end of a railway before a train enters the platform. A track time element relay (70) transmits a stop signal to a leaving signal (5) when the train passes a first block signal. The track time element relay transmits a go-ahead signal to the leaving signal after a constant time has passed. An automatic train stop (ATS) train control apparatus installs ATS wayside coils (20,30,60). The ATS train control apparatus controls travelling speed of the train according to a deceleration code. PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling a wireless communication based a railway switch are provided to improve the safety of a rail driving operation by directly controlling the rail switch on the ground based on the wireless communication of an on-board system. CONSTITUTION: An access notification unit(230) with respect to a railway switch is installed on the ground. The state display unit of the railway switch(240) informs the state of the railway switch to the access notification unit with respect to the railway switch. A wireless communication unit(210) wirelessly communicates with a train. A railway switch control unit(220) processes data received from the wireless communication unit and controls the operational state of the railway switch. |
