The manual letter folder is an apparatus which can be used in an office and is to be placed on a desk. The apparatus is for accurately folding A4 paper into 3 to fit into an envelope although other possibilities are foreseen. The apparatus is constructed with a slot into which the paper is inserted. The base of the apparatus comprises two grooves which mark the fold lines. Pushbuttons in the top of the apparatus correspond to these grooves and can be manually operated so as to create two fold lines in the paper. The paper can then be folded and inserted into an envelope.

The apparatus can be multifunctional, e.g. it can be used as the foot of a photo holder or in combination with a letter holder, penholder, clock, agenda holder, perforating machine, etc..
