摘要 The manual letter folder is an apparatus which can be used in an office and is to be placed on a desk. The apparatus is for accurately folding A4 paper into 3 to fit into an envelope although other possibilities are foreseen. The apparatus is constructed with a slot into which the paper is inserted. The base of the apparatus comprises two grooves which mark the fold lines. Pushbuttons in the top of the apparatus correspond to these grooves and can be manually operated so as to create two fold lines in the paper. The paper can then be folded and inserted into an envelope.
The apparatus can be multifunctional, e.g. it can be used as the foot of a photo holder or in combination with a letter holder, penholder, clock, agenda holder, perforating machine, etc..
权利要求 The manual letter / paper folder is an apparatus that can be made of all kinds of material. It isn't bigger than necessary for the folding of a letter with the size A4. But it's also possible to adapt the proportions bigger or smaller as desirable according to the format of the paper, or any other attendant functions. The manual letter folder has a bottom and a cover and is foresee of sides which arises a hollow space between the bottom and the cover and can have beneath it legs or not. In one of the longest sides, is in the side an adapted slit for entering the letter and pulling the letter out. (It's also possible to put this on another side.) Beneath against the cover is a sharp profile foresee of a hinge which is fixed on the cover and which the moving (pushing down) makes possible. As well is this profile construction foreseen of a spring so that this construction gets pushed against the cover during the non active period. On this profile construction is a pushbutton fixed. This pushbutton runs through the cover up to the top and makes it possible to push down from the outside. As well against the inside of the cover, (this on a fixed distance of the previous profile construction) finds a groove construction. These are also foresee of a hinge with a spring and pushbutton and are attached to the cover. As well the profile construction as the groove construction can be made of all kinds of materials and the size is minimum so long as the breadth of the paper that has to be fold. Right against the movable profile construction is at the inside of the bottom a groove. Right against the movable groove construction is at the inside of the bottom a sharp profile.The technical composition possibilities of this construction can be realised at different ways, but what marks them the most is that these constructions fold paper / letters by pushing power / pulling power, in case that between the bottom and the cover or between profile and groove, the paper is entered and manual power/pushing power is exercised at the movable profile/groove constructions, to fold the letter. The place of this profile/groove construction is fixed on the place of the fold in the paper as wish able. Generally the letter will be fold in 3simular parts and so most of the time established, yet other possibilities are possible.Other technical compositions and structures of folding manual letters are possible. The letter/paper folder is especially marked because that it folds letters with manual attendance / manual power (push power). And because of his eventual multifunctional possibilities he can replace a lot of attributes on an office.Eventual combinations with other office articles, also other articles, can be added by common fastening techniques like gluing, grooves... and form this way one whole with the letter folder and so you have a letter folder with multifunctional possibilities. Thus there are different kinds of models, forms of the apparatus and technical possibilities possible. Even apparatus made of one whole; for example there can be functions added to the letter folder like a photo holder, letter holder, penholder, agenda holder, and watch; even with an attendant perforating machine and so on...With a letter folder with a built in perforating machine is also on the inside of the cover a hinge construction foresee with a pushbutton and next foresee of two perforating bars. In this combination is it more practical that there is an entering slit foresee on a short side of the letter folder. Some cm behind the entering slit is found a wall; thus the distance of the paper input is fixed in distance and in this way it gets perforated each time on the same distance. In the bottom are two holes foresee. These holes are fixed right beneath the bars. In this way the bars can be pushed true the paper if the paper is found in the entering slit.
Of course are also here different technical possibilities possible with the same goal.

The manual letter/paper folder is an apparatus that can be used at an office, but also else where. And can be qualified under office material.

At this moment are les big amounts of letters still fold with the hand for then to be put in an envelope and to be send. By placing this apparatus on the desk and then putting the letter in the apparatus, the letter will be folded by pushing on the push-button, which you can find on the top of the apparatus. The letter is also very straight and folded on the exact right place. It's also very easy to handle/ to use. Of course you can with this apparatus fold other similar paper. This apparatus can't be compared at all with other eventual electronic apparatus and this because of his shape multifunctional possibilities, his technical execution and his manual service.

The manual letter folder is an apparatus that can be made of all kinds of materials. It's also easy to handle and light. It don't has to be much bigger then necessary for folding a letter, most of the time format A4. Although bigger or smaller proportions of the apparatus can be applied, if it's wanted, and this according to the size of the paper that will be folded. The apparatus can be placed on any furniture or place. The cover fits right over the bottom and is foreseen of sidewalls and gives in this way one whole view. (Can off course also be made out of one whole). In one of the longest sides is in this side a slit that's used for entering the paper. (This slit can also be placed on another side or place). Between the bottom and the cover are two sharp profiles with against these profiles a slit. In other words right against the movable profile that you can find beneath the cover is in the bottom a fixed slit, which is suitable for the profile and is some mm deep. And right against the fixed profile in the bottom is underneath against the cover a movable slit construction. The slits are so made that the profile plus the paper can be pressed into the slit, which makes a fold in the paper. The movable profile and the movably slit - construction beneath the cover, are on the cover fixed with a hinge point for seen of a spring. At the top of these movable construction is a push button for see, which goes through the cover and to above the cover, which makes it possible to push dawn these profile / slit - constructions. The sharp profile construction and the opposite slit get pushed in each other by pushing it dawn. If the paper is finding between each, then there will arise a fold in the paper. The same happens with the movable slit construction. You have a push button for each movable construction, or with other words, for each fold These profile / slit constructions are found on fixed distances. The position is fixed at the place of the fold in the letter. Most of the time a letter has to be fold in 3 similar parts, but also different distances is possible. The sharp profile / slit constructions can be made out different kinds of materials, but by prefer steel and aluminium. The sharp profile constructions don't necessary have to be used in combination with a slit. Other systems with a similar function are also possible. Between cover and bottom is a hollow space. Yet isn't this space visible because of the sides. If you enter your letter/paper through the foresee slit, you can push the profile and slit on each other by pushing the push buttons. In this way the paper is found between the profile slit and there arises a fold in the paper. When you pull out the paper the letter will be fold, ready to be putted into an envelope. Beneath the bottom there can be legs but it's not necessary.

Of course there are different kinds of models and compositions of technical constructions possible.

This apparatus fold letters but it can made versatile, multi functional. This through adding other office material or other things like a photo holder, a letter holder, a penholder, an agenda holder, a watch, and or other apparatus in general , who can be electronic or not, and belongs this way as one whole. Even an attendant function as a perforating machine can be foreseen. Then the letter folder has to be made a bit longer and bigger in proportions, and is there foresee another movable hinge with a spring beneath the cover. This hinge is foreseen of two bars to perforate. On the cover find likewise a pushbutton. At the side of the letter folder will then be foresee of an attendant entering slit.

Important is that the letters are always straight, neat and at the exact place folded, which is also very easy , in contrast with letters who are folded without this apparatus and with the hand Different kinds of models, technical compositions and structures of the apparatus are possible. Because of his multi functional possibilities, it's a handy office material that represent a lot of functions and admits at a fast , simple and exact way to fold less big amounts of letters so that this don't has to happen with the hand
