243 Perforation skipping device of printing paper for line printer JP16548887 1987-07-03 JPS649769A 1989-01-13 AOKI HIDEYOSHI; IKEDA NOBUYUKI
PURPOSE:To obtain a perforation skipping device which automatically operates with a comparatively simple mechanism by providing a perforation detector for printing paper inside a line printer. CONSTITUTION:Printing end and start lines which are found by counting respectively from a perforation detector position are set on the first and second counters, and the perforation of printing paper is properly set right before the perforation detector for the starting of printing. When the perforation is detected, each counter starts, counting the number of printing lines generated by a printing line count signal generator. Then when the number of counts equals the number of lines in which set printing is completed, a signal is output to a printing device control circuit and consequently printing is suspended. Next when the number of counts by the second counter equals the number of lines in which set printing is initiated, a signal is output to the printing device control circuit and thereby printing is begun. Thus it is possible to automatically provide space continuously as desired before and after the perforation.
