A printing plate (10) washing machine (3), especially for soft rubber printing plates, is fed by an overhead conveyor (1) and comprises a pre-soaking section (5), a washing section (7) and a drying section (9).

The washing section (7) have several rows (23,27,28,29) of end-face brushes (24,31) rotating about horizontal axes. One row (28) has oscillation rotation of elongated brushes (31) about a middle position, thereby utilizing brush hair pressure at the point of reversion of movement for penetrating into corners or intricate details of the profile of the printing plate.

According to the invention time-consuming manual work with cleaning the printing plates (10) is avoided.

150 In-line mask cleaning system EP83110964 1983-11-03 EP0111708A3 1984-07-25 Magee, Robert Arthur; Remsen, Lawrence Peter

A system for cleaning material from a surface of an object (82), such as an MLC mask, with movable support . members (96, 104) having extended along its length one or two lines of liquid dispensing nozzles (130,134,154,156) and or two lines of gas dispensing ports (100,106) for respectively cleaning and drying the surface. The liquid dispensing nozzles and the gas dispensing ports are arranged to respectively provide a continuous line of liquid spray (132, 136,158,160) and a continuous line of gas spray (92,108) at an angle with respect to the surface so as to form a wedge therewith in the direction of motion of the movable support member. The nozzles and ports are preferably arranged on both sides of the object to simultaneously clean both sides. The support member is moved vertically with respect to the surface. The vertical movement of the respective lines of nozzles and ports is so that said liquid dispensing nozzles provide said continuous line of liquid spray to remove said material from said surface when said line of spray is moved vertically across said surface, and said gas dispensing ports subsequently act to provide said continuous line of gas to remove the liquid from the surface when the line of gas is moved vertically across the surface. The material and liquid are deposited below the surface for collection and removal.

A vibrating apparatus for a cleaner of a screen printer is provided to maintain a stencil mask cleanly regardless of the frequency or time of coating a lead liquid. A supply part has a supply conveyer for being supplied with a PCB in a frame. A camera part is installed at the upper part of the supply part, determines a position through the stop function of the PCB and the checking of a fiducial mark, and inspects the state of a coated lead liquid. A walker table and a mask frame(38) ascend/descend according to the thickness of the PCB. A theta compensating part performs the compensation of an X axis and a Y axis for the walker table and the mask frame. A squeezing part reciprocates along the width of PCB, and performs soldering by squeezing. A cleaner(50) removes the lead liquid remaining on a stencil mask(51). A vibration device(70) vibrates to easily remove the remaining lead liquid in a coating hole of the stencil mask. The vibration device includes a vibration cylinder(72) which is fixed at a supporter(71) stood inside the mask frame, a controlling bolt(73) which is coupled at the upper part of the supporter, a vibration plate(76) which is protruded toward the stencil mask, a controlling handle(78) which is coupled at the controlling bolt and controls the height of the vibration plate, a vibration body(79) which is fixed at the inner bottom of the vibration plate, and a vibrator(80) which is fixed at the bottom of the vibration body and generates vibration by striking the stencil mask.
