An exercise garment includes pockets for carrying weights in a non-conspicuous manner. The pockets are strategically located on the exercise garments in order to enhance concealment of the weight when the garment is worn by an individual. One such strategic location of a weight pocket is the waistband portion of the garment. In order to improve the concealment of the weight, the weights may be formed as generally flat slabs that are flexible. As such the weight can be shaped to conform to the user's waist. Weight pockets are also strategically located in other areas of the garments selected to conceal the weights when the user is wearing the garment. Also disclosed are wrist cuffs which include weight pockets for carrying weights that are concealed. |

The invention incorporates the use of reconstituted leather board in decorative wearing accessories such as cuffs, belts, necklaces, hat bands, headbands, bracelets, decorative chokers, vests and other wearing accessories for personal use and adornment worn by both men and women. Reconstituted leather board is incorporated into decorative wearing accessories so that the decorative wearing accessory is made stronger and more durable and at the same time also is more malleable and can be formed into a desired shape and maintain that shape through continuous wear. |

A jacket having two sleeves and at least one outside breast pocket further having a cuff-less sleeve end consisting of a hemmed finish; a cuff-less waist consisting of a hemmed finish; and an inside breast pocket inside the jacket sharing the same outline as the outside breast pocket, whereby the jacket provides a fitted and shorter fit around the sleeves and waistband without the use of a cuff fastening means, and whereby securing means securing the inside pocket are not visible on the outside of the jacket because they share the same outline. A method of making the jacket of the present invention has the steps of removing the sleeves cuffs from the sleeve ends; hemming the sleeve ends; removing the waistband cuff from the jacket waist; and hemming the waist, whereby the sleeves are shorter and fitted without the use of securing means. |

A protective garment, such as a surgical gown, includes a garment body defining sleeves. A cuff may be secured at respective ends of the sleeves. A circumferentially extending coating is disposed on the sleeves beginning at the sleeve or cuff. The coating has a high friction surface such that an end of a glove pulled over the coating is inhibited from rolling or sliding back over the coating and down the sleeve. The coating may be formed of a low-tack surface modifier and may include a dye or colorant that may be used to indicate the fluid protection level of, for example, a surgical gown. Additionally, a second coating of a phase change and/or shape memory material may be applied to the protective garment. |

A shirt cuff has a cut-out opening providing a window through which a wristwatch can be viewed and accessed as it is being worn in an operative viewing position. A flexible fabric flap is attached to the cuff and is positioned under the viewing window, thus providing a saddle for supporting the watch body in the viewing window. The saddle flap allows a wristwatch or other wrist-mounted instrument to be loosely associated with the wrist and worn with utmost comfort and confidence, while preventing direct contact of the watch body against the wearer's wrist. In a French cuff embodiment, an outer cuff layer is intersected by a cut-out opening through which a wristwatch can be viewed, and an inner cuff layer prevents direct contact. |

An auxiliary shirt cuff which can be applied to virtually any type of shirt. It does not require any modification to the shirt. When applied, the cuff gives the appearance of a high-quality french cuff shirt. It can be applied to a shirt already having a french cuff, or to one having a conventional button cuff. Different fabrics and colors can be employed to make the cuff, thereby creating a pleasing and fashionable contrast with the fabric and color of the shirt to which the cuff is applied. |

The cuff is formed at an opening of a sleeve in a garment, and includes a tubular member which is switchable between a first rolled position allowing the hand to pass through and a second unrolled position forming a covering around at least a portion of the hand and/or thumb while leaving the ends of the fingers and thumb exposed. |

A cuff of a garment having means for displaying a standard wrist watch on the outer surface of the cuff. In a first embodiment, the cuff is provided with a pair of slit apertures through which a standard watch band is inserted. The watch band is secured around the user's wrist in a conventional manner so that only the face of the watch is exposed on the outer surface of the cuff. In a second embodiment, straps are sewn or otherwise secured to the outer surface of the cuff, which straps are then threaded around the watch band retaining pins of a watch and inserted through slit apertures in the cuff. The straps are then secured to the inner surface of the cuff. In yet a further embodiment, straps are secured to the outer surface of the cuff and then threaded around the watch band retaining pins as above. The free ends of the straps are then secured over the attached ends of the straps on the outer surface of the cuff. |
