The present invention relates to a structure for forming and maintaining the three-dimensional shape of clothing. Specifically, the present invention teaches methods for manufacturing of clothing whose three-dimensional shape can be changed freely and kept in place securely even if the clothing is constructed from soft material such as knit. In one embodiment of the present invention a flexible and shape retentive member is attached to the clothing.

[Problem to be Solved] An object is to provide construction of a clothing which is transformable and maintainable its three-dimensional shape even if the clothing is formed from soft material such as knit.

[Solution] A wire 20 which is transformable and maintainable its shape is attached to a dress. The wire 20 is ceramic and an end of the wire is turned up and covered by a resin tube 21. The wire 20 is attached circularly along the peripheral direction of a body 11, a sleeve 12 of a shirt 10 or a cuff of trousers 25. The wire 20 is attached to a neck or a pocket of the shirt 10 along the perimeter thereof.

5 GARMENT WITH INTEGRATED CUFF STIFFENING ELEMENTS US15897772 2018-02-15 US20190246705A1 2019-08-15 Jeffrey Richard GAETO
A garment with integrated cuff stiffening elements having a sleeve portion and a torso portion coupled to the sleeve portion is disclosed. The sleeve portion is attached to a first end of a cuff portion. Disposed in a void created within the cuff portion by attaching a second end of the cuff portion to the first end is a stiffening element. The stiffening element substantially circumscribes the cuff portion and defines a substantially uniform height of the cuff portion. In defining the substantially uniform height, the stiffening element provides the cuff portion with a crisp outward appearance.

[PROBLEMS] To provide a clothing with shape retainability capable of holding the three-dimensional shape thereof in a freely changed state even if the clothing is formed of a soft material such as a knit material. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Wires (20) deformable and capable of holding the shape of the clothing is fitted to the clothing. The wires (20) are of a ceramic type formed by folding back the end parts thereof and applying resin tubes (21) to the end parts for the end part treatment. Also, the wires (20) are installed in the body portion (11) and sleeves (12) of a shirt (10) and the bottom portions of a trouser (25) annularly along the tubular cross sectional shapes thereof, and also installed in the neckband (13) and pockets (15) of the shirt (10) along the shapes of the peripheral edge parts thereof.

PURPOSE: A garment which includes bio elastic material is provided to provide vitality to a user and prevent the collar or sleeve from being crumpled. CONSTITUTION: A garment which includes bio elastic material comprises a top equipped with a collar and sleeve in the neck part; an adhering material(20) which forms a capacity space unit in the inside by sewing both edges of a collar of the top or inside of the sleeve; an opening unit(30) which interconnects the capacity space unit with the outside; and a bio elastic material(40) which emits far-infrared radiation by maintaining the form of the sleeve and collar. The opening unit is formed to be separated from a longitudinal end buttonhole of the adhering material for a fixed distance. A finishing material which blocks the opening is equipped on one side of the opening unit.
