The present invention is directed to a kit containing the required elements to enable one to manufacture his or her own greeting cards, note cards, and/or envelopes. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing a greeting card, note card, or an envelope from ordinary paper stock or from paper stock containing decorative scenes thereon. An example of decorative paper stock which may be suitable for use with the kit is the glossy decorative paper stock which is used within some magazines. The kit is preferably provided in booklet form and includes templates to assist one in manufacturing cards and/or envelopes. The kit typically includes pieces of paper stock which have decorative scenes printed thereon which are suitable for use in manufacturing cards and envelopes. The kit typically will also include numerous pieces of plain or substantially plain paper stock which are suitable for use in forming envelopes and/or cards and which have a writing surface. Various stickers may be provided in the kit. For example, plain or substantially plain stickers may be provided and adhered to the envelope to allow one to write an address thereon. Also, decorative stickers may be provided and be used to assemble the envelope or seal the envelope after a card or letter is placed therein.

63 Bag sealer US288143 1981-07-29 US4378266A 1983-03-29 Carl F. Gerken
A device for sealing plastic material bags having opposed jaw members movable between open and closed positions with one of the jaw members provided with a heat source and the opposed jaw member provided with a resilient jaw surface. One of the jaw members is stationary, the other jaw member is movable and is attached adjacent one end of a lever member pivoted intermediate its ends, the other end being associated with an electro-magnet with switch means for actuating the electro-magnet, the switch being actuated by manual movement of the movable jaw towards the stationary jaw. Activation of the switch controls electronic circuitry including timing means to actuate the electro-magnet to forcibly close the jaws and maintain them in a closed condition until interruption of power to the electro-magnet by a timing circuit. The movable jaw is normally biased away from the stationary jaw. The heat means may be provided with two heat ranges, the timer circuitry with two timing circuits, and the resilient facing with interchangable faces whereby the device is readily adaptable to different bag styles.

65 Plastic bag fabricating, dispensing and sealing unit US3753829D 1971-12-06 US3753829A 1973-08-21 FREEMAN M
A plastic bag fabricating, dispensing and sealing unit includes a housing formed with a compartment and closed with a hinged lid that receives a cartridge containing a roll of double-layered folded plastic film open at one side. A wire mounted on the housing extends along an insulating strip. A circuit to heat the wire is energized by closing and pressing the lid against the housing. An insulating strip on the lid presses the plastic film against the heated wire, thereby severing and sealing and layers of plastic film to form a bag. After filling the bag, the remaining opening therein can be sealed by inserting it between the housing and lid and closing and pressing the lid against the housing.

74 USER-DEFINED BOX CREATION APPARATUS US15397345 2017-01-03 US20180186113A1 2018-07-05 Daniel Cunningham; Douglas Nelson
One embodiment relates to an apparatus configured to create a box having a width and a height. The apparatus comprises a first control slider movably connected to a body. The first control slider is structured to move to a width position that alters the box width. A second control slider movably connected to the body. The second control slider is structured to move to a height position that alters the box height. A third control slider movably connected to the body, the first control slider, and the second control slider. The third control slider is responsive to the width position of the first control slider and the height position of the second control slider. A size value guide movably connected to the third control slider and is responsive to movement of the third control slider. The size value guide indicates a paper needed to create the user desired box.

Embodiments of the invention are directed to an apparatus and method for creating folded multi-dimensional shapes from pliable substrates. An apparatus having a handle connected to one or more plungers that are configured to move along a longitudinal axis is used to form folds in a flat substrate by pressing dies attached to the plungers into a die area to shape the flat substrate. The handle is depressed multiple times to achieve the desired number of folds in the substrate. The apparatus may include one or more plunger adjustment mechanisms to switch use of the one or more plungers to create different sets of folds in the substrate with each depression.
76 Envelope Making Plate US14900891 2014-05-21 US20160332407A1 2016-11-17 Fuping Li
The present patent application discloses an envelope making plate. The envelope making plate includes a plate body with a marking groove, a reference edge; and a scale line or an indication line corresponding to the type of the envelope. The plate body is divided into a working area and a non-working area by the reference edge. The envelope paper abuts against or aligns with the reference edge. One side of the envelope paper is the working area, and another side is the non-working area. The marking groove is set in the working area of the plate body and intersects with the reference edge or an extension line of the reference edge. The marking groove divides the reference edge or the extension line of the reference edge into an acute angle and an obtuse angle. The scale line or the indication line corresponding to the type of the envelope is set along the reference edge and on the side where the marking groove and the reference edge form the acute angle. A second indication line is set in the non-working area of the plate body and is perpendicular to the marking groove. An extension line or virtual extension line of the second indication line intersects with the marking groove within the working area of the plate body. It is easy to achieve a full utilization of the plate body's area when making the envelope by making the angle between the marking groove and the indication line being as an acute angle. It saves the materials of the plate body.

80 FOLDING DISPLAY APPARATUS US12943076 2010-11-10 US20120111764A1 2012-05-10 Robert W. LACKEY; Roy V. NICHOLSON
The present invention provides methods and systems for a folding display apparatus, and more particularly relates to a folding display apparatus that has a first base and a second base in a spaced apart relationship. The first base and second base include a bottom side panel, a left side panel, a right side panel, a back side panel, a right tab, and a left tab. The right tab and the left tab are selectively secured to the back side panel with tab fasteners. When constructed, the left side panel, right side panel, and back side panel of the first and second base of the folding display apparatus form a cavity therein for receiving panel filters for display on a shelf in a selectively secured arrangement.
