PURPOSE: An end mill is provided to prevent the cutting blade from noising cause by vibration or being damaged and to conduct a falling process and curved surface process at once without replacing a tool halfway. CONSTITUTION: An end mill body installs a throwaway tip(20) in the head end. The tip contains an outer circumference arc cutting blade(24b) for a curved surface process and an end straight cutting blade(24a) for a falling process. A first locked face(31) of the tip is locked in a rotating direction and a second locked face(32) is locked in a radius direction when cutting resistance applies to the tip. Therefore, the end mill smoothly cut without releasing the tip as fixed tightly by the two locked faces. Also, the tip has a group of the blades so as to use a new blade by releasing a plate screw and changing the direction of the tip in 180 degree when the present blade is worn out.
