61 Vibration isolator for stretcher JP1935188 1988-01-28 JPH01192353A 1989-08-02 YAMASHITA TOMIKAZU; FUKUI SHIGEJI; HARA KEIICHIRO
PURPOSE: To absorb an oscillation at the time of the traveling of an ambulance car, to correct even inclination and to prevent the giving of a pain and an uneasy feeling more than necessary to a patient on a stretcher by absorbing an impact loaded to a hydraulic cylinder while a variable throttle valve is equipped. CONSTITUTION: When a stretcher S, on which a patient lies, is mounted on an ambulance car C and travelling is executed, a hydraulic pump is driven, arms 3 and 3 are swayed by the driving of a hydraulic cylinder 8, and thus, an elevating frame 2 rises so as to push up the lower surface of the stretcher S. When the elevating frame rises up to a constant position, the swaying of the arm 3 is stopped and in this condition, the ambulance car C is travelled. At such a time, even when the ambulance car C is oscillated, an impact force is absorbed by the cooperation action of a spring 7, the hydraulic cylinder 8 and a shock absorber 9 provided at the arm. When the ambulance car ascends or descends the steep slope, the supply quantity of a hydraulic oil to two hydraulic cylinders is adjusted by matching to the inclination angle, the swaying angle of both arms is adjusted and the elevating frame can be kept approximately horizontally. 68 Vibration-Damping Spineboard Securing System US15447601 2017-03-02 US20170266067A1 2017-09-21 Michael H. Holland; Bruce Williams
A pad of vibration-reducing foam is interposed between a spineboard and a litter that are secured together by straps. The pad has a pad upper surface contoured to receive and substantially mate with a spineboard lower surface to block horizontal motion therebetween, and a pad lower surface with a substantially planar support region. The pad can be formed of more than one layer of foam, with each layer having different vibration-damping characteristics. Material costs can be reduced by employing a discontinuous pad formed by a pad head segment and a pad foot segment. When a full-length pad is employed, separate straps for engaging the spineboard and the litter can be provided, with the pad interposed between the straps to prevent transmission of vibrations through the straps. The pad can be configured to offset the spineboard on the litter and allow a portable ICU to be placed alongside the spineboard.
