41 Push button switch JP2000348063 2000-11-15 JP2002150876A 2002-05-24 ASADA MAKOTO
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push button switch having reduced probability of contact failure. SOLUTION: For the push button switch comprising a lower electrode mounted on a base board, and a dome-shaped upper electrode covering the upside of the lower electrode, the lower electrode has a hole or a concave part, and the upper electrode has a convex part which is convex downward, and by impressing a pressing force to the upper electrode, the convex part touches with the peripheral electrode of the hole or the concave part, and by releasing the pressing force, the upper electrode disjoins from the lower electrode by an elastic force. 42 Membrane switch JP7885090 1990-03-29 JPH03283220A 1991-12-13 KOBAYASHI SHOICHI; SHIMOJO KAZUTOSHI
PURPOSE: To obtain a transparent membrane switch with which production of interference fringes is prevented and with which bounce at the time of switching action is restricted by forming a number of fine irregularities at least in a surface of one glass substrate facing the other glass substrate, and forming electrodes in the irregular surface. CONSTITUTION: A membrane switch consists of a lower glass substrate having an upper surface of an irregular surface 3a where a number of fine irregularities are formed, with lower electrodes 4 patterned in the irregular surface 3a. Light from a light source is irregularly reflected at the irregular surface 3a of the lower glass substrate 3, so interference fringes are not generated, and a high grade membrane switch can be achieved. The lower electrodes 4 of a form shaped along the irregular surface 3a has fine protrusions 4a, and upper electrodes 2 are put to get in point contact with the fine protrusions 4a for changing into a switch-on condition, so bounce in a switching action can be restricted compared to a case where both electrodes get in surface contact with each other, thereby a membrane switch of a higher responsiveness can be obtained. To provide the structure of a dome-shaped movable contact having a reverse function used in a push button switch, wherein it is possible that the movable contact comes into contact with a fixed contact at position excluding the central portion thereof where dusts are liable to gather, obtains high contact reliability, has good feeling in manipulation and is excellent in an intimate contact property with a sheet member covering the movable contact. The push button switch includes fixed contacts, a dome-shaped movable contact disposed above the fixed contacts, and a projection formed on the inner surface of the movable contact at a portion excluding a dome-shaped apex portion so as to be in contact with and separated from one of the fixed contacts. <IMAGE>

PURPOSE: To provide high contact reliability and to improve operation feeling in an operation, by providing a fixed contact and a dome-like movable contact disposed on the fixed contact, and forming a protrusion contactable/separatable from the fixed contact in a part other than a dome-like top on the inner surface side of the movable contact. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of protrusions 5c are on an annular line in a part other than a dome-like top 5a on the inner surface side of the movable contact 5. When a stem 6 is pressed down, these protrusions 5c come into contact with a fixed contact 3, and therefore, the fixed contact 3 comes into contact with a movable contact 5 in a place without dust having tendency to accumulate at a central part 3a of the fixed contact 3. Therefore, this is stable in contact comparing with a structure where a top 5a directly comes into contact with the central part 3a of the fixed contact 3, and contact reliability is improved. Because the dome-like top 5a positioned inside the protrusion 5c also becomes movable during inversion, operation feeling during an operation does not exert bad effect.
