The two-way lever switch includes three component or a spring-equipped lever in which a U-shaped spring is fitted in a lever member, an upper casing in which the spring-equipped lever is mounted, and a lower casing in which the upper casing is fitted; wherein the three components are assembled together in turn without using any fasteners such as screws or the like.
67 Switching device US464074 1995-06-05 US5679937A 1997-10-21 Keiji Iwata
A substantially fan-shaped stationary contact base is provided at its pivot of the fan with a shaft hole and at its outer periphery with mounting bosses, each having a through bore. The mounting boss is formed in the middle of the outer periphery of a circular arc to have an enlarged area in the circumferential direction where there is provided an elongated positioning slot which is extended in the radial direction of the shaft hole. A shaft holder supported by a switch case is inserted into the shaft hole and a positioning projection provided on the side of the switch case is then inserted into the elongated positioning slot so that the stationary contact base and the switch case can be assembled together. Since the circumferential direction of the stationary contact base is predetermined by the positioning projection, the stationary contact base is secured, while adjusting its position in the radial direction to the side of the switch case by screws each passed through the corresponding through bore for improving the positioning accuracy of the shaft holder.
68 Rotary switch assembly US925995 1978-07-19 US4218594A 1980-08-19 Hiroki Komatsu; Tsumoru Oka
A switch having a small thickness and constructed easily from a reduced number of parts comprises two complementary molded switch case members, each of which has fixed contacts with terminals integrally formed therewith and a common contact with a terminal integrally formed therewith. An operation member consisting of a disc portion and a stopper portion integrally formed therewith is provided between the case members and movable contacts having contact projections on their outer surfaces are secured to respective side surfaces of the disc portion of the operation member. A shaft member passes through the case members, the movable contacts and the operation member and is held in place with a fastener member. The upper portions of the case members are formed so as to define a slot therebetween which restricts rotary movement of the stopper portion projecting from the operation member.

77 ROTATION TRANSMITTING MECHANISM AND LEVER SWITCH ADOPTING ROTATION TRANSMITTING MECHANISM EP16167810.7 2016-04-29 EP3093863B1 2017-12-13 AMIMOTO, Kenji; OKUHARA, Takeshi
There is adopted a case 2 having a curved outer appearance in an operating lever in which two rotary knobs 3, 4 are provided to be spaced therebetween. Rotation of a first rotary knob 3 is transmitted by an inner diameter-side rotation transmitting member 6 for connecting a first shaft portion 61 and a second shaft portion 63 to be capable of rotating integrally by a flexible shaft 62, and rotation of a second rotary knob 4 is transmitted by an outer diameter-side rotation transmitting member 7 for connecting a tubular part inserted outside of the first shaft portion side and a tubular member inserted outside of the second shaft portion side for rotation transmission by a rotation transmitting mechanism 8. Torsional stress causing an inner periphery of an outer spring Sp1 in the rotation transmitting mechanism 8 to make pressure contact with a tubular wall part 813 of a common holder 81 and a large-diameter tubular part of an inner holder 85 acts on the outer spring Sp1, and torsional stress causing an outer periphery of an inner spring Sp2 to make pressure contact with the tubular wall part 813 of the common holder 81 and the large-diameter tubular part of the inner holder 85 acts on the inner spring Sp2, thus connecting the inner holder 85 and an outer holder 86 to be incapable of rotating relative to each other.
