PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lengthen an insulation distance of a switch terminal without increasing a size of a switch main body.
SOLUTION: An inter-face insulation distance G of a terminal 9b and an insulation distance H between panel cut sides P become larger than a switch 1 itself, by mounting the terminal unit 8 having a connecting conductor 9 connected to a terminal 4 of the switch 1 on the terminal of the switch 1 and by connecting an outer electric wire 10 to the terminal 9b of the connecting conductor 9. Since a shape and a size of the unit switch 1 or an unit case 12 of the terminal unit 8 are set regardless of a case 2 or cover 3 of the switch 1, a required insulation distance can be ensured without increasing a size of a switch main body.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a terminal by providing at least one thin positioning part capable of being cut from a plate to at least one part for removing the plate and providing a holding member suspended from the plate for holding a terminal protection device on a low-voltage apparatus.
SOLUTION: This terminal protection device 30 has side parts 34, 36 extending backward and facing each other and has a rectangular end part 32. A shoulder part 66 at the low ends of arms 62, 64 suspended downward from a base 46 engages with a projection of a channel opening of a low-voltage apparatus, so as to hold the terminal protection device 30 on the low-voltage apparatus. Before a wire is inserted into a terminal of the low-voltage apparatus, a part 52 or a part 54 sometimes needs to be removed, depending on the diameter of the wire. Therefore, the tip of a screw driver is inserted into an opening 50, force is applied to the part 54 to remove it, and the wires protection device 30 is inserted into the corresponding channel of the low-voltage apparatus and assembled. Preferably, a thin part 58 is provided with the parts 52, 54 for removal, each having a thickness smaller than another part 53 of the plate 46.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fit a switch directly to bus bars formed on an insulating substrate, shorten the work time, and reduce the cost by providing connecting terminals each formed with a terminal board and elastic pinch sections.
SOLUTION: A connecting terminal 3 is constituted of a terminal board 31, an elastic pinch section 32, and a connection section 33. The terminal board 31 of the connecting terminal 3 of a switch 1 is inserted into the insertion hole 11c of a housing 11 in advance, and the pawl piece 31a of the terminal board 31 enters and is locked in a recess 11d when the tip of the terminal board 31 is brought into contact with the tip of a groove 11e. An elastic pinch section 32 is fixed along the outer periphery of the housing 11 via the connection section 33 bent into a U-shape. When the terminal of the elastic pinch section 32 is inserted between the blade terminals 21 of bus bars 2 fixed to an insulating substrate, the switch 1 is fixed to the bus bars 2. The switch 1 and the bus bars 2 can be connected without using a connecting means such as soldering, and the work time can be shortened.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make this device serve for multikind of vehicles by coupling a terminal housing and a switch cover through saw-toothed uneven teeth, and enabling the terminal housing to be displaced in peripheral direction to the switch cover. SOLUTION: A terminal housing 11 is made so that it can be displaced at an interval of 20 deg. at a time in peripheral direction to a switch cover 8, with the uneven teeth 11c made at the bottom 11a of its cylinder fitted with the uneven corrugation 8e made at the switch cover 8. Accordingly, when connecting a conductive cable 12 to the terminal bolt 9 projecting from the inner tube of the terminal housing 11, the direction of the positioning groove 11d for deciding the direction of the projection of a cable terminal board 12 can be set finely. Hereby, one terminal housing 11 can cope with multikind of vehicles, so the common use of parts can be accomplished. |
