PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispose a coil connecting portion on an accessible side by arranging a coil body in a position deviated by 180 deg. around an axis of a coil wire of an electromagnetic coil as a center. SOLUTION: Two coil connecting pieces 8 projecting in one direction are disposed in a coil body 7, and are connected to a connection wire via terminal screws 9 and terminal lugs 10. The coil body 7 is pressed against the center leg of a core 2 at a position deviated by 180 deg.C from the center on a shaft of a coil wire of an electromagnetic coil 17, to be housed inside a casing. At this time, a positioner 12 positions the lower portion 1 of the casing and the coil body 7 in such a manner as to be engaged with each other at the deviated positions by 180 deg.C. Consequently, it is possible to have access to the connecting piece of the coil on a free side so as to selectively assemble an electromagnetic switch to a power switch or a safety device.
