121 | Vaporizer for non-azeotrope | JP20087884 | 1984-09-26 | JPS6179810A | 1986-04-23 | SUMITOMO HIROYUKI; HORIGUCHI AKIRA |
PURPOSE:To enable the temperature of generated steam to be maintained at a high value, by a method wherein, in an vaporizer, such as waste heat recovery device, which has a non-azeotrope serving as a working medium, a non- azeotrope is held at optimum concentration through regulation of a quantity of reflux liquid from a gas liquid separator. CONSTITUTION:A vaporizing device, well suited to a waste heat recovery device, has a passage 12 for a non-azeotrope medium serving as a working medium, and a passage 13 for heat source fluid such as hot waste water from a factory, and includes a circulating type vaporizer 11 in which the working medium and the heat source fluid flow in a complete opposed flow manner. Working medium steam, generated in the generator 11, is fed to a turbine through a gas liquid separating device 16, and after the steam passes through the turbine, it is cooled and condensed by a condenser and is returned to the passage 12 again. Meanwhile, after working medium liquid, separated from working medium steam with the aid of the gas liquid separating device 16, is joined with liquid from the condenser by means of a variable throttle 17, a flow rate is regulated so that concentration is controlled to an optimum value, the liquid is returned to the vaporizer 11.

Method and multiple-stage absorber for effecting gradual absorption of a gas in a solvent under controlled conditions so as to obtain a high-enthalpy solution of the gas in the solvent with maximum recuperation of the heat of absorption. This is achieved by passing the solvent and the gas in respectively opposite directions through a plurality of discrete absorption stages so as to form a relatively concentrated solution and recirculating this solution through some or all of said absorption stages, counter-currently to the flow of the solvent, so as to extract heat from some or all of said stages by indirect heat exchange with the fluid in said stages; and extracting additional amounts of heat from some or all of said absorption stages by indirect heat exchange with a coolant fluid which is passed through said stages. There is further provided an energy conversion process utilizing a dual fluid system, wherein the absorption of the working fluid vapors in the carrier fluid, is conducted in accordance with the above method of the invention.

PURPOSE:To provide high output under compact arrangement of system by a method wherein liquefied operating medium is supplied in an axial shaft of a rotary vane wheel arranged in hot water in a motor box and gasified, then a rotating force is applied to the vane wheel with evaporation pressure of gasified medium. CONSTITUTION:When medium A operated under a low boiling point kept in liquefied condition in a cooling tank 8 acting as condenser is guided into a hollow shaft 3 in a motor box 1 through a pipe 9 under operation of pump etc., the hollow shaft 3 heated with hot water B is acted as an evaporation heat exchanger, thereby said medium A is gasified, passes through slits 2 and holes 6 of vane wheel 5 and then is injected into hot water B. At this time, vaporized medium A pushes aside hot water B between the curved vanes 4, 4 with its vaporizing pressure, applies a lifting force to the vanes 6 to rotate the vane wheel 5. After that the vaporized medium A is lifted upwardly and enters a cooling tank 8 through a cylinder 7, is condensed and liquefied by cooled water C passing through the pipe 11 and then a similar operation is repeated.

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of conventional superheater and consequently contrive to reduce the size of the plant by a method wherein a heat transfer medium, which enters in wet region when adiabatically expanded, and another heat transfer medium, the boiling point of which is higher than that of said heat transfer medium, are introduced as working media in the evaporator of the power generating plant. CONSTITUTION:The power generating plant is constituted by connecting a preheater 1, the evaporator 2, a turbine 4 to drive a generator 5, and a circulating pump 7 by means of piping. The superheated steam produced through the preheating at the preheater 1 and the heating at the evaporator 2 is sent to the turbine in order to perform work. In this case, the heat transfer medium B, which has a boiling point higher than that of the heat transfer medium A conventionally used as working medium and yet is highly thermally stable, is contained in the evaporator 2. Then, the heat transfer medium B is mixed with the heat transfer medium A in order to produce superheated steam 102 by heating the mixture of the heat transfer media A and B. By the manner as mentioned above, superheated steam can be produced directly in the evaporator 2, resulting in enabling to eliminate the need of conventional superheater.

PURPOSE:To perform electric power generation in a maximum heat utilization factor, in a power generating plant where heat is transferred from a thermal source to an operating medium to generate power from vapor of the operating medium, by exchanging a kind of the thermal medium correspondingly to a change of temperature of the thermal source. CONSTITUTION:When a plant is operated, a thermal source of terrestrial heat and waste heat or the like is used, and vapor of a turbine operating medium is generated by an evaporator 1 to rotate a turbine 2 and convert the vapor into electric power through a generator. And then, the vapor is liquefied by a condenser 3, increased pressure by a pump 4 and recirculated to the evaporator 1. Here a piping is provided to extract the operating medium from the condenser 3, and the operating medium is fractionated in a fractionating tower 5 by utilizing a difference of boiling points, divided into different materials A-E and stored in a storage tank. When temperature of the thermal source is changed, the respective thermal mediums A-E are fed to the plant in accordance with the temperature of the heat source to change the temperature in an on-line state. In this way, electric power generation can be performed in a maximum heat utilization factor.

Power is recovered from the vaporization of liquefied natural gas by warming and vaporizing the liquefied natural gas against a first multicomponent stream which is cooled and liquefied. The liquefied multicomponent stream is pumped to an elevated pressure and is warmed and vaporized against a second multicomponent stream which is cooled and liquefied. The warmed first multicomponent stream is heated, expanded through a generator loaded expander and recycled. The liquefied second multicomponent stream is pumped to an elevated pressure, heated, vaporized and expanded through a second generator loaded expander and recycled.
