The present invention relates to an absorbent paper sheet for sanitary or household use comprising two layers of cellulose fibre, the first layer being embossed with relief patterns consisting at least partly of first projections pointing towards the interior of the sheet, and the second layer not being embossed and being joined to the first layer by bonding of the first projections. The sheet is characterized in that some of the first projections are arranged in a simple line and in that the second layer is a layer of cellulose fibre of the type dried by blow-through drying, with a thickness of between 0.2 and 0.5 mm and a grammage of between 15 and 45 g/m2. The invention applies particularly to the manufacture of rolls from the above sheet.
106 PROTECTIVE ARRANGEMENT IN WEB CUTTING PCT/SE0102208 2001-10-11 WO0233169A8 2002-07-25 MYREN HARRY INGEMAR
A protective arrangement (37) for a cutting equipment (10) for dividing a continuous fiber web (7) is described, said cutting equipment being arranged in a board or paper machine and includes at least one cutting member (16) for cutting the fiber web (7). In accordance with the invention the protective arrangement includes an endless belt member (20) movably arranged and having a straight run (21) between the cutting equipment and the fiber web to screen off at least an essential part of the cutting equipment from fibers which are released from the fiber web during the cutting. It also includes one or more cleaning members (34, 35) at least one of which being arranged in connection to the outside of the belt member at a distance from the cutting member, to remove the portion of the released fibers being caught by the belt member. According to the invention, the permeable portion is adapted such that the wet paper web supported thereby extends over the entire width thereof, whereby the permeable portion is configured to allow air directed thereat to flow therethrough, exclusively of the impermeable strip portions, such that the wet paper web supported only by the permeable portion is dewatered, the width of the permeable portion between the impermeable strip portions thereby defining a corresponding width of the wet paper web being dewatered. Associated systems and methods are also provided.
