PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing window-opened, thread-containing paper in which the thread is exposed in the intermittently formed opened window portions, which has the thread surely exposed in the opened window sites and capable of being clearly observed, and which can be produced with a relatively simple device. SOLUTION: This method for producing paper for preventing counterfeit comprises tightly guiding wet paper, in whose paper layer a thread T is buried, onto a center roll 3 on whose surface projections 2 are intermittently disposed at a prescribed space, scratching the surface of the wet paper on the projections with a scraping roll 4, moving the surface fibers of the wet paper on the projections to intermittently form the exposed portions of the thread on the surface of the wet paper, and then drying the paper by a conventional method. |

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production technique of raw paper, especially for making woodfree paper by using a mechanical pulp prepared from aspen in papermaking. SOLUTION: The pulp is formed of a fibrous raw material and a web is formed from the pulp and dried on a papermaking machine. The pulp is formed of crushed wood raw material of the genus Populus bleached with a peroxide and pH of the mechanical pulp is set to 6.8-7.2 and conductivity of the pulp is set to 1,000-1,500 μS/cm. Hypersensitivity of papermaking process to disturbance can be decreased by using relative low pH value and narrow pH value. The mechanical pulp of aspen is combined with a chemical pulp and high electroconductivity is imparted to the mechanical pulp on the papermaking machine and stability of wet end of the machine is improved and dehydration is smoothly carried out and the resultant paper is used for production of base paper for woodfree paper. |
