PURPOSE: To protect traveling of two crossed warp threads to jump over a reed when the warp threads are introduced to upper and lower parts for openings of guide elements. CONSTITUTION: Warp threads 1-6 are adjacent to each other in a fabric and cross just before a reed 8 to be inserted. The warp yarns 1-6 have points of intersection 17 deviated forward to the rotation direction 15. Laying elements 14 to which the warp threads adjacent in the fabric are guided are arranged with a minimum pitch 19 depending on that the same repeated patterns of the warp threads arrange the warp threads on the laying elements or that the spaces between the laying elements are increased. |

PURPOSE: To provide a traversing shed loom capable of producing a fabric which has a dense yarn distance and on which a mottled warp pattern is not generated.
CONSTITUTION: This traversing shed loom has a shedding weaving rotor into which weft yarns are picked. The rotor has shedding elements 12 and beating-up combs 15 in which warp placing guides 31 place warp yarns 1-8 by moving transversely to the direction 10 of rotor rotation. Most of the warp yarns are deflected transversely to the direction 10 of rotation during shedding and the deflection is canceled only by the shedding elements 12 moving away before the beating-up of the weft so that the warp yarns are realigned. The beating-up combs have at least two warp yarns per occupied space. The position of guides 31, the geometry and position of the combs 15, 28, the position of top shed guides and bottom shed guides and the warp yarn placing program are so adapted to one another that the streakiness, i.e., warp streakiness, is controllable.

PURPOSE: To distribute filling threads by blowing the filling threads drawn out by feed nozzles disposed in a static part together with a weaving rotor into pricking tubes of a rotating part, then distributing the filling thread to the plural pricking tube channels of the rotor.
CONSTITUTION: The filling thread 10 drawn out at a speed set at a specified ratio to the rotating speed of the weaving rotor 4 via the feed nozzles 22 arranged in the static part 21 by a feeder 31 are blown into the pricking tubes 21 through a common separating and sealing surface 20 within a plane symmetrical with the axis of the part 11 rotating together with the weaving rotor 4. The filling threads 10 are distributed to the plural pricking channels 7 within the weaving rotor 4 from the port 15 of the pricking tubes 12.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved apparatus for supporting a weft yarn capable of readily setting a nipping power of the weft yarn.
SOLUTION: This apparatus for holding a weft yarn 4 in a continuous shedding loom comprises a supporting mechanism 11 for the weft yarn 4, advancing elements 12 and 13 which are arranged on both sides of the supporting mechanism 11 and capable of moving relatively to the supporting mechanism 11 in order to introduce the weft yarn 4 extending across the supporting mechanism 11 and extending transversely from the moving direction of the advancing elements 12 and 13 into the interior of the supporting mechanism 11 and a mechanism 14 for tensioning the weft yarn 4. The supporting mechanism 11 is equipped with a yarn nipping part 15 having a fixing and nipping element 17 and a movable nipping element 18 operating by actions of a spring force in the apparatus. Although both the fixing and nipping element 17 and the movable nipping element 18 form a nipping spacing 27, the weft yarn 4 held in the longitudinal direction can be displaced in the transverse direction from the longitudinal direction through the nipping spacing 27.

PURPOSE: To surely carry out weft insertion into a weaving rotor of a warp yarn series shed weaving machine. CONSTITUTION: Four weft yarns 7; 71-74 are conveyed from four weft yarn supply units 2a-2d and four metering apparatuses 1a-1d into a weft yarn distribution apparatus 9 which distributes the weft yarns 71-74 delivered thereto to sheds 103a-103d of a weaving rotor 100 and the weft yarns 71-74 are then inserted through stationary fluid nozzles 91-94 into the rotating weaving rotor 100. During normal operation of the warp yarn series shed weaving machine the weft yarns 71-74 are continuously pulled from the weft yarn supply units 2a-2d by the metering apparatuses 1a-1d and conveyed to the weft yarn distribution apparatus 9 which conducts the weft yarns 71-74 into open sheds 103a-103d. The speed of conveyance of the weft yarns 71-74 during the insertion into the sheds 103a-103d is thus determined by the metering apparatuses 1a-1d. |
