PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economically advantageous positioning rail capable of preventing the breakage of a warp at a thickened part or a knot part and provide a loading apparatus suitable for the positioning rail.
SOLUTION: The positioning rail 10 of a knitting machine 1 provided with a continuous shed has plural notches 10a placed with gaps to guide the warp 3. Each notch 10a has two end parts 10b, 10d and a guide part 10c between the end parts. The width of the notch 10a is wider at both end parts 10b, 10d than at the guide part 10c.

PURPOSE: To provide a device and method for delivering a weft yarn to a weaving rotor of a series shed type loom capable of automatically correcting the interruption of its weaving process caused by a disorder in its weft yarn insertion. CONSTITUTION: This method for weft yarn insertion involves drawing a length of weft yarn 7 from a supplying unit 2 and delivering the weft yarn to the loom in synchronicity with the weaving cycle. The weft yarn-delivering device 4 following behind the weft yarn-storing device 4a, decides the delivering direction of the weft yarn 7. The inserted length of the weft yarn 7 is measured by the number of rotation of a conveyer roller 40. In the case of an interruption of the weft yarn between the spool of the supplying unit 2 and the weft yarn-delivering device 4, it is detected by using sensors 46, 46a. On detecting the interruption of the weft yarn, the conveyer 40 continues to convey the weft yarn 7 stored in the weft yarn-storing means 4a until the complete weft yarn insertion into the loom has taken place. Then the weft yarn 7 is cut at the end part 10 of the weft yarn-insertion side 100a and the loom is stopped. The remaining weft yarn 7 in a weft yarn-preparing unit 6 is drawn back by the conveyer roller 40 and discharged into a waste container 55. |

PURPOSE: To enable the utilization of the weft insertion velocity specified as conditions of the maximum possible loom width for a width-narrow loom as well by reducing the weft insertion time which brings about the reduction of weaving cycle.
CONSTITUTION: A rotor furnished with relay system jets 3 is disclosed in regard to a series-shed loom. The relay system jets supply compressed air by an air distribution system 10 via delivery stations 6 distributed and arranged in the axial direction in order to produce a traveling field 22 relatively to the loom rotor. At the same time, the delivery stations 6, which supply the compressed air to one group of the relay system jets 3 via a supply path 11, are adjustably mounted in the direction of rotation and are connected to adjustment devices 27, 33. The angle 8 of rotation between the delivery apertures 7 of the various delivery stations 6 is adjustable at the side of the rotor 1 via the adjustment devices 27, 33. This also enables the maximum possible weft insertion angle αwith the greatest possible weft insertion velocity to be used even with a reduced loom width 36.

PURPOSE: To gently hold weft threads of a series-shed loom in a state that the weft threads are stretched between a cutting position and a beat-up position of a woven fabric.
CONSTITUTION: The outer periphery of a rotor 1 is provided with a guide member 2 for a shed an the weft threads are arranged therein. The weft threads 41-44 are simultaneously inserted through the weft thread grooves of the guide member 2 into the shed 51. Weft thread holding devices 11a and 12a are arranged on a weft thread introducing side 11 and leading out side 12. The weft thread holding device 11a has a supporting member 7 and pulleys 81-84 and supports an inward belt 8. An outer belt 9 is displaced by pulleys 91-93. The belt 8 slides on the guide surface of the supporting member 7. The belt 9 exists on the belt 8 at the guide surface and a clamping slot 89 is formed between the belts 8 and 9. The weft thread 44 is arranged within the slot 89. The weft thread in the slot is held clamped by the weft thread holding device and is supplied in this state to a beat-up edge where the beat-up by a reed 3 is executed.

PURPOSE: To easily remove the troubles by constituting the second part having plural connecting pipes axially-movable with respect to the first part provided with plural transfer ducts which are respectively coaxially disposed, and exposing the transfer ducts and the connecting pipes at the time of generating the troubles. CONSTITUTION: In the weft distribution in an air-jet room of warp shed series arrangement type, the weft is supplied from the plural connecting pipes 10 of the second part 8 which is arranged coaxially so as to keep the prescribed gap 9 to the first part 7 which is provided with plural weft transfer ducts 11 for supplying the weft to sheds and rotates with a rotor 2 via the energizing force of pressure springs 24 of an energy storing device 23, and the weaving is executed. When the troubles such as mispick occur during the weaving, a piston 26 is energized by compressed air, takes the second part 8 away from the first part 7 and the transfer ducts 11 and the connecting pipes 10 are exposed. After the removal of the troubles, the compressed air is made to flow backward untill a three-point supporting unit 30 which is capable of controlling the width of the gap 9 comes into contact with an insert member 32 and the second part 8 is reset by the energizing of the pressure springs 24. |

PURPOSE: To reduce the size and weight of laying bar by releasing warp thread from tension and displacing the warp threads parallel only to a rotor.
CONSTITUTION: The insertion device has the laying bar 10 having holes 24 for guiding the warp threads 3. The laying bar 10 are moved back and forth parallel to the rotor 1 by a drive assembly 12 in order to insert the warp threads 3 to the shedding device on the rotor 1. The respective laying bars 10 are associated with a guide bars 25 and switch the direction of the warp threads 3 to be inserted, thereby regulating the warp threads 3 with the holes 24 for guiding the warp threads 3 disposed in the laying bars 10.
