A glass lined reaction tank for chemical and pharmaceutical industries and a manufacturing method thereof. One-step molding technical standards for manufacturing iron blanks of the glass lined reaction tanks are deeply developed, an overall structure of a flanged big flange of a tank body and a tank cover matching with the tank body are innovated, and nominal pressure of the big flange and the sealing performance of a tank mouth are perfectly improved. By using a new structurally-combined precise controlled internal heating type electric furnace and an intelligent temperature program control/adjustment/recording instrument, heating temperature of an overall glass lining layer on an inner wall of the tank body is more accurately controlled to be the same, and a synchronous, integral and controlled sintering core technique is realized. |

A process and apparatus for coating metal strips on both sides with an enamel base coat and on at least one side thereof with an enamel top coat by continuously passing such strips in a contactless manner through baking furnaces. For the heat treatment following the coating step, the metal strips are vertically admitted into a baking furnace, and vertically guided through the baking furnace. |

A method of and device for heating open melting baths, e.g. galvanizing baths, enameling baths, glass baths and the like, according to which an inert gas is by means of pipes, passages, slots and the like introduced into the respective bath and is withdrawn above the pipes and the like when no articles are to be immersed into the bath for treatment therein, whereas, when articles are to be immersed into the bath for treatment therein, the inert gas is withdrawn outside the path of movement of such articles or outside a device for feeding and withdrawing additional substances into and out of the bath respectively.

A method and apparatus for enameling metallic products such as cast iron bathtubs wherein the product to be enameled is mechanically conveyed to a preheating tunnel furnace where it remains sufficiently to reach a desired temperature. Then the product is automatically conveyed to a dredging station and oscillated during which enamel is mechanically distributed on the entire product from a dredging element which moves relative to the movement of the product. After application of the enamel, the product is conveyed to an enamel firing furnace and finally it is conveyed to a cooling station.
