234 Rotatable display tower US735078 1996-11-18 US5772055A 1998-06-30 Henry C. Orr; James R. Dokoupil; Robert W. Ackley; Linda Lewis; Jerome A. Dubos; Donald J. Crispin; Robert D. Lindridge
The present invention provides a rotatable tower for holding and displaying books, video cassettes, and like articles on a plurality of square shelves which extend in horizontal planes and are supported in vertically spaced relation to one another by a plurality of vertically extending rods, groups of which are interconnected into L-shaped configurations by L-shaped, horizontally extending rods. The shelves include an elongated slot formed from the midpoint of each edge inwardly towards the shelves' geometric center, and two laterally spaced notches formed in each edge to one side of the slot. Each edge of the shelves includes a downwardly extending flange along their entire lengths and an upwardly extending flange along a portion of the length to the opposite side of the slot in which the notches are formed. Each L-shaped group of vertically extending rods is comprised of four rods, two rods forming each leg of the L. The rods in each group are spaced from one another a distance corresponding with the length and spacing of the slot and notches formed in each edge, thereby permitting one group of rods to engage the slot and notches formed in each edge of each shelf. Each shelf can be slid downwardly on the rods until they engage the adjacent horizontally extending L-shaped rods which interconnect the vertically oriented rods. The shelves' downwardly extending flanges will prevent the horizontally oriented rods, and hence the vertically oriented rods, from becoming disengaged from the shelves. Moreover, the engagement of one set of L-configured rods with each edge of each shelf systematically divides each shelf into four distinct article supporting regions.
235 Display stand for incense sticks US586340 1996-01-16 US5655671A 1997-08-12 Ralph E. Barry; Gloria A. Barry
The present invention relates a rotatable display stand for a plurality of incense sticks, such display stand including a first planar disk of diameter D1 having an upright axis of symmetry substantially normal to the earth's surface, and a broad surface normal to such surface for supporting a series of cylindrical incense stick holders in upright positions. In one aspect, the first planar disk is stacked a predetermined height H above and rotatable relative to a rigid base using a metallic bearing mount. Such mount includes upper and lower races one of which being rigidly mounted to the broad surface of the base and the other mounted to the first planar disk to permit rotation of the first dick as well as second and third disks stacked above the first disk. In another aspect of the invention, such height H is sufficient to permit insertion of a pair of drawers in the space between the rigid base and the first planar disk for stowage of matches, plastic bags and the like, as well as support a pair of chest handles for permitting easy portability of the invention. In yet another aspect, attachment of the first, second and third disks is via insertion of a compression rod having at least threaded ends through vertically aligned small openings in the disks. Positional relocation of fasteners or nuts at the ends of the compression rod creates a compressional force at the broad surfaces of the disks through a stacked pair of spacer tubes concentric of the compression rod.

238 Holder for screws, bolts, nuts and washers US864039 1992-07-01 US5228582A 1993-07-20 J. C. Marshall; James C. Marshall, II
A vertically oriented, peripherally defined, and rotatably mounted column defines a plurality of spaced sets of similar spaced holes to receive and support the shanks of elongate fasteners. The column carries, between sets of spaced holes, a plurality of "L" shaped brackets, each having upturned support arms spaced radially outward from the column to receive and support a plurality of annular washers or nuts thereon. The column is rotatably mounted on a bracket for support on either horizontal or vertical surfaces. The column supports fasteners for sorting, display, and storage and may be used as a merchandising container for such products. A second species provides a plurality of cylinders that are rotatably supported in spaced circular array on a medial stand that provides additional means for storage of a stock of fastening devices. A third species provides a column formed with a polygonal cross-section by a plurality of planar panels removably carried in a supporting frame so that the panels may be individually placed and removed while carrying fasteners.
