PURPOSE:To learn blind touch typing in a short time and reduce fatigue by providing special keys in an auxiliary keyboard and inputting graphics of positions onto a coordinate input base board and registering them. CONSTITUTION:In case that an operator sets personal key areas in consideration of lengths of his hands and fingers and their operating ranges, he depresses first a key area register key 10a on an auxiliary keyboard 7. Next, he hixes a form on a coordinate input base board 5 and inputs an area Si which is closed by a writing utensils and has an optional size. The area Si is inputted in consideration of the number of keys of which each finger takes charge. Plural key positions are registered for one closed area Si corresponding to each finger and are discriminated by a key decision circuit part 14. Key areas are registered similarly for the other fingers; and when keys are registered for all fingers, he depresses a completion key 10c to terminate the input key area register work. As the result, blind touch typing is learned in a short time, and fatigue is reduced. |

PURPOSE:To measure the speed of key operation by an operator and informing him of the results by counting clock signal of a micro processor in an electronic typewriter which is controlled by the micro-processor. CONSTITUTION:There are provided three control keys B, C, and D for measuring key operation speed besides many typing keys A on the keyboard KB. When typing keys A are being operated, information on the keys A is sent to the second control circuit CO2. When control key B is pressed down, the internal state is returned to the initial state, and the maximum value that can be calculated is set in the memory P. When the control key C is pressed down, counting action that uses the clock signal is started, and the times passed since are set on the memory T. When the control key D is pressed down, the counting is stopped, and at once the content in the memory T is outputed to the second control circuit CO2 to type. |
