PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus and timepiece that have shutoff effect of undesirable external magnetism and improve the receiving accuracy of electric wave.

SOLUTION: In an antenna device 30 of a wristwatch 100, a pair of external magnetic members 33 and 33 each attached to a respective one of both ends of a magnetic core 31 effectively collects the magnetic flux of a standard electric wave because of its large outer area. The magnetic flux is guided to a coil 32 wound around the core 31 via a screw 34 for magnetism connection and the core 31, thereby effectively inducing an electromotive force and hence improving the reception accuracy of the standard electric wave. Motors M2 and M2 for rotating and driving a hand shaft 1 and hands are covered, so that the magnetism blocking action of the pair of external magnetic members 33 cuts off undesirable external magnetism to the motors M2 and M2, and significantly reduces the influence of the external magnetism on the motors M2, thereby achieving correct hand driving and improving the watch accuracy.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a built-in antenna-type electronic time-piece capable of enhancing antenna characteristics.

SOLUTION: A radio controlled timepiece 1 has an exterior case 9, an antenna 21 arranged in the exterior case 9, a motor 421, and a drive controlling circuit part for stopping the motor 421 at least at the time of the reception operation of valid data. A motor coil 422 of the motor 421 is arranged in parallel to the antenna 21 so that the axial direction thereof is nearly arranged in parallel to that of the antenna 21 and the motor coil 422 can be magnetically connected with a coil 212 of the antenna 21. Since the motor is stopped at the time of receiving the valid data, the motor coil 422 functions as a parasitic element of the antenna 21. The motor coil 422 arranged in parallel to the antenna 21 enhances the magnetic flux density of external radio information near the antenna 21, and increases the amount of magnetic flux passing through the antenna 21, thereby enhancing the antenna characteristics.
