The antenna core comprises at least magnetic flux collecting parts 1a and 1b for collecting magnetic fluxes and a winding core part 1c around which the winding is wound. The magnetic flux collecting parts 1a and 1b and the winding core part 1c are respectively made of different magnetic materials, and the winding core part 1 is made of materials whose mechanical strength is higher than that of the materials used in the magnetic flux collecting parts 1a and 1b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve directional characteristics of ferrite core antenna during placing a radio wave timepiece. SOLUTION: A pair of ferrite core antenna arranged in rectangular is combined and fixed at a connection part so as not to change the mutual angle relation. The interaction of a pair of antenna is eliminated and the problem of directional characteristics specific for ferrite core antenna is resolved. By making the combined antenna part independent and apart from the timepiece part, attaching to a location with good reception is facilitated. |

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily confirm that the standard radio wave is received and time is read in via a code analysis in an analog type radio wave-corrected clock. SOLUTION: The standard radio wave of JG2AS is received, and time is displayed according to the Japan standard time with a pointer. This analog type radio wave-corrected clock is provided with a memory means storing the reception of the standard radio wave and the success or failure of time read-in at the time of automatic time correction, a confirmation switch 41, and a success time display control means displaying the reception success time in the prescribed time, e.g. 12 hr or 24 hr, with a pointer when the confirmation switch 41 is operated. |

PURPOSE: To provide a data transmitting/receiving system for hand type electronic timepiece.
CONSTITUTION: Output signals from a step signal generating circuit 25 and a drive signal generating circuit 13 are fed to a converter coil 15a while being switched by a switching circuit 26. Under communication function mode, a timing signal is fed from the step signal generating circuit to the converter coil 15a in order to perform bilateral communication. A 1Hz signal is stored at the time of designating the mode and the time is reset automatically at the end of mode.

PURPOSE:To provide a portable electronic watch provided with a receiving function of good efficiency by floating the external case of the watch body from power source line and providing a function as a primary antenna. CONSTITUTION:An oscillation circuit part 5, frequency dividing circuit part 6 and display circuit part 7 are analogous to the constitution of those of conventional electronic watches. A receiving circuit consisting of an antenna 2 and a receiving circuit part 3 receives the defining signal transmitted from the outside and is connected to a correction pulse forming part 4. The correction pulse forming part 4 controls the frequency dividing circuit part 6 of the watch circuit and corrects the time of the watch body at the accurate time. The receiving circuit part 3, correction pulse forming part 4, oscillation circuit part 5, frequency dividing circuit part 6, display circuit part 7 and provided within the shield case 8 connected to the earth line of the power source. since an external case 1 is not connected to the power source line, it is held afloat from the earth line of the watch body. |

PURPOSE: To let receiving be surely performed with a coil as an antenna by connecting the coil of a step motor to receiving part and preventing driving pulses from being sent to the coil at the receiving of signal thereby letting error component be automatically corrected after receiving the signal.
CONSTITUTION: Both ends of the coil 10 of a motor part 2 are connected to the motor driving output end of the watch part 1 via gate 5 and the signal input end of receiving part 3 via gate 6. At the ordinary time, the power sources of the receiving part 3 and signal processing part 4 are held off, the gate 5 conducts, the gate 6 is cut off and a step motor 2 is operating. When a switch 9 is operated for the purpose of receiving, the power sources of the receiving part 3 and signal processing part 4 turn ON. Then the gate 5 is turned OFF and the gate 6 ON, and the driving pulses from the watch part 1 are no longer sent to the coil 10, thus the transmission electromagnetic wave from the outside induced in the coil 10 is sent from the receiving part 3 to the signal proceccing part 4, whereby signal processing is accomplished.
