181 Method for detecting standard radio wave of radio- controlled timepiece built into electric equipment JP33175199 1999-10-18 JP2001116864A 2001-04-27 KOMARU YUICHI
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a radio-controlled timepiece built into electric equipment to stably detect a standard radio wave even in an environment where reception of radio waves is apt to be blocked and facilitate automatic time calibration and holding of time information in the radio-controlled timepiece. SOLUTION: As a means for transmitting the standard radio wave to the radio-controlled timepiece 1 built into the electric equipment 2, a lamp wire to which the power cable 3 of the electric equipment 2 is connected via an indoor receptacle is used as a standard radio wave receiving antenna wire via a coupling coil toroidally wound on a magnetic core.

PURPOSE: To prevent damage of a ferrite body due to external forces such as impact load and press pressure by providing a gap between ferrite bodies, and connecting and holding each ferrite body in the inside of a frame body in a line. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of short rod-like ferrite bodies 2 which are cut along the radial direction on a few parts are connected and held in a line, with a specified gap provided between each ferrite body, in a hollow cylindrical frame body 6 composed of composite resin capable of elastic deformation. Since an antenna formed by winding a coil 3 around the circumference of the frame body 6 can be bent in the gap between each ferrite body 2, it is gently curved as the whole. Accordingly, even if external forces such as impact and press pressure is loaded, the antenna 1 will absorb those external forces, and cracking and damage will not be produced on the ferrite bodies 2. When the antenna 1 is incorporated in a watch or the like, incorporability is improved because it can be bent. COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO

PURPOSE: To perform easily the time correction at an optional time and via another electronic watch of the similar type, by providing the time signal sending function plus the function which supplies the time signal sent from outside and then corrects the own time. CONSTITUTION: The low level is applied to inverter 9 via external operation part 10, the high level is applied to the control input terminal of gate 7. Thus gate 7 opens, and the signal supplied between electrode 2 and case 3 is supplied to time correction part 5. At part 5 only the time is extracted out of the signals sent there, and compares the time with the own time given from clocking part 4. And the time difference is detected to give correction to the time of part 4. At the same time, the time information of part 4 is sent to time signal sending part 6. And other necessary signals are added at part 6 to send the time signal to gate 8 in the serial form. Then the high level is applied to inverter 9 via part 10, and thus gate 7 closes with gate 8 opened. And the time signal is applied to electrode 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio

PURPOSE: To perform time correction without using the factors giving effect to the function of watch such as magnetic and electric field, by using the alarm production means as the receiver of time correction signal from external part. CONSTITUTION: By taking the frequency around the resonant frequency of the alarm speaker 5 as carrier, the sound waves modulated with the time information are received at the speaker 5 in the watch. This signal is inputted to the detection circuit 6 and also inputted to the decoder 7 with wave shape and amplification, where the signal is interpreted and the watch circuit 8 is corrected. 197 External correcting electronic watch JP3507778 1978-03-27 JPS54127370A 1979-10-03 SHIMANO KEIJI
PURPOSE: To use external glass as a resonating plate and enable sufficient signal output to be obtained even if an ultrasonic microphone is installed within the watch of perfect waterproof construction by setting the carrier frequency of ultrasonic waves to the resonance frequency of the external glass of the watch. CONSTITUTION: At the time of transmitting the signal to the electronic watch by using ultrasonic waves, the carrier frequency of the ultrasonic waves matching the resonance frequency of the external glass of the watch is selected. The external glass 1 resonates at the ultrasonic wave signals and transmits the signal efficiently to the watch inside. An ultrasonic microphone 2 is placed under the dial and the ultrasonic wave signal is transmitted through the slits 3 provided in the dial. COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
198 Portable electronic watch JP3508078 1978-03-27 JPS54127363A 1979-10-03 ARAI ISAO
PURPOSE:To prevent giving influence to the watch part, collect magnetic fields at a magnetosensitive element and enhance receiving sensitivity by constituting part of the external case with material of high magnetic permeability such as permalloy or the like, so disposing the magnetosensitive element on top thereof and forming the case in mgnetoresistant construction. CONSTITUTION:In a portable electronic watch having the function of receiving magnetism signal, a magnetoresistant plate 5 is constituted as part of an external case 1 and is so constructed as to prevent the entry of powerful magnetic fields into the watch body. On the other hand, a magnetosensitive element 6 is so disposed as to make direct contact to the magnetoresistant plate 5 and the magnetoresistant plate 5 acts as a magnetism collecting plate for the magnetosensitive element 6 so that the magnetism signal may be effectively received. A DC bias E is applied between magnetoresistances 7, 8 and resistance elements R1, R2 to form a bridge. One magnetoresistance 8 is applied with magnetism shield and only the magnetoresistance 7 is acted as the magnetosensitive elements. When there is a magnetic field, a potential difference occurs between terminals A-A' and this potential difference is picked up, whereby the magnetism signal is detected.

PURPOSE: To enable time correction to be readily performed through inputting of the time correction signal at the necessary time and fixed time from the outside by forming a transparent electrode to the inside or back of the glass of the wristwatch and providing a time signal receiving circuit. CONSTITUTION: When an AC field is applied to glass 1, the voltage (h) corresponding to the change in the electride field is generated in a transparent electrode 2. This voltage is inputted to a tuning circuit ± demodulating circuit 10 and a pulse detector 4. From the tuning circuit + demodulating circuit 10, the time correction signal (a) composed of time correction command signal and time signal is inputted to a time signal receiving circuit 7, and from a time correction command receiving circuit 5, the time correction command signal (e) is inputted to the time signal receiving circuit 7. This causes a time correction circuit 8 to correct the hour- minute-second counters of a watch circuit 9. Time correction is accomplished by the signal by the electric field through the operation of merely removing the watch and placing the same on a time corrector. COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
