PURPOSE: To send accurate time signals and to enable time correction in a short time at the corrected side by using existing waves at the receiving function part, and sending out time correction signals including time signals at the transmitting function part. CONSTITUTION: By timer part 9, power is supplied to a receiving part 2 and detecting part 3 from scores of seconds before the set time, for instance, every just time. As a result, a time announcement signal is detected, and a pulse to reset all stages of frequency dividing part 5 and the second counter part of a time measuring counter part 6 is sent out from the detecting part 3. Accordingly, the watch function part B is normalized to the correct time, and the power source at the receiving function part A is cut off. On the other hand, the output from each stage of time measuring counter part 11 is inputted into a signal making part 11, which is mainly composed of data selector, and the input end of transmission control part 10 to determine the transmission period is connected with the output end of the frequency dividing part 5, so that correction signals including time signals are sent out every second. PURPOSE:To readily and surely correct the time of the portable watch side by transmitting standard time signal to the portable watch side through transmission from the master watch and detecting the difference from the own time. CONSTITUTION:On the portable watch side, the radio waves being sent from the master watch side are received with a receiving antenna 6 and the time signal is drawn out by a receiving part 7 and is then stored in a register part 8. A watch circuit part A is so formed as to generate second pulses by dividing down the output from the transmitting part with a frequency dividing part 11 and send the second pulses to a step motor and second counter 13 with analog type and the second pulses to a second counter 13 with digital type. The difference between the register part 8 and counter 13 is detected in a difference detecting part 9 by an instruction by the start or end signal. In a control part 10, controlling is so made as to stop inputting of the second pulses by closing the gate 12 in case the watch is fast and send the rapid feed pulses to the gate 12 when it is slow, whereby the time correction of the watch circuit part A may be performed. | ||||||
