CONSTITUTION: On the upper surfaces of right and left blocks 1 mounted on the sea bottom are provided hooks 2 with the tips thereof previously directed in the outward direction of tide current. One end of a rope 3 is connected to the hook 2 and the other end is connected to a float 4 so as to hold the rope 3 as a guide member, as being stood, in the sea. Both upper ends of a curtain body 5 made of a square synthetic resin sheet are fixed on the attachment part of the ropes 3 to the floats, and both lower ends of the curtain body 5 are connected to ring bodies 6 into which the ropes 3 are inserted. In the outward direction of the tide current, the curtain body 5 is folded in two along the tide current by receiving a fluid pressure in one direction and the tide current mainly flow in the arrow direction through the lower side of curtain body 5, the flow rate and flow velocity not being reduced. In the inward direction of the tide current, the curtain 5 is drawn by drawing the lower end thereof through the ring bodies 6, so that the curtain body 5 receives the fluid pressure on the back surface to be expanded up and down, thus cutting off the tide current. 【課題】鉄道車両の通過による荷重、衝撃が加わってもたわみ難く、かつ、変形し難いまくらぎを提供することを目的とする。
【解決手段】まくらぎ1Aは、長方形状の上面11及び底面13と、この上面11及び底面13をつなぐ一対の短辺側の側面15,15及び一対の長辺側の側面17,17とを有する、木ないし複合材料からなる本体部5に加え、本体部5の長辺方向に沿って、本体部5の一対の長辺側の側面17,17と平行に広がる板状の一対の補強部材7,7を備える。この構成により、本体部5の剛性が一対の補強部材7,7によって補完され、高まることとなる。その結果、仮に、まくらぎ1Aの略中間部で、まくらぎ1Aとバラストとの間に空間が形成され、まくらぎ1Aがその両端でバラストによって支持された状態で、鉄道車両の通過による荷重、衝撃がまくらぎに加わっても、本体部5がたわみ難くなる。

SOLUTION: A wear-resistant material layer is provided on a bottom face of a sleeper main body, and many holes catching a ballast material are provided in the wear-resistant material layer. As for a size of the hole, it is preferable that a length in the longitudinal direction of the sleeper is 3 to 25 mm, an area of the hole occupying an area of the wear-resistant material layer is 40 to 80%, and a depth of the hole is 3 mm to a thickness of the wear-resistant material layer or less. The wear-resistant material layer is provided at a position where a load is directly applied from the rail of the sleeper, a length in the longitudinal direction of the sleeper is a width at which a load is directly applied or more and 40% or less of the length of the sleeper, and a thickness is 10 mm or more.
